This role assists with recruiting activities, including candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and pre-employment processes, while ensuring accuracy in timekeeping, wage calculations, and records maintenance and compliance with federal, state, and local labor and tax laws.\nJob Responsibilities:\nPayroll Processing & Administration\nAnswers calls/emails from employees, government agencies, and 3rd party vendors on any questions with employee checks, the payroll system, W-2's, etc. \nAssists with payroll processing on a weekly basis \nReviews checks and payroll reports for any exceptions or errors and verifies data entry for accuracy \nInputs, prepares, and maintains both on-cycle, and manual check data including stop payments, voids, or deposit reversals \nAssists in maintaining payroll files. \nProcesses garnishment, direct deposit, and other general deduction information in the payroll system \nProvides payroll reports to other departments, for required audits, census as needed. \nHuman Resources & Talent Acquisition Support\nOversee the onboarding process for new hires, including I9 compliance/TNC \nMaintain confidential employee records and update status changes such as promotions, transfers, and terminations in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System). \nServe as the first point of contact for employee questions regarding compensation, benefits administration, and general HR policies. \nSupport compliance with labor regulations, employment laws, and company policies through routine file audits. \nBenefits administration -
