This is a role that encompasses both an expertise of thumbnail creation and an understanding of how algorithms recommend content to users and why videos are clicked on.\nThe ideal candidate will have a passion for digital video, how it's consumed, how it's shared and must love being rigorous with data. This is a role for someone who wants to test hypotheses, iterate, learn and be comfortable with the speed of change.\nThe position is based in New York and will report to the Senior Director of Creative Optimization.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nDevelop thumbnails and titles for YouTube pilots\nCreate new thumbnail templates for existing key shows\nPartner with programming to ensure core appeal is always expressed in optimization\nContinuously monitor and proactively reoptimize library content\nCreate new systems to measure the effectiveness of reoptimization tactics\nWith Creative Optimization teammates, utilize community mechanisms to promote re-optimized content\nRequirements\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role for a media company, creator or mcn\nBe curious and entrepreneurial, always looking for new methods to grow CTR, impressions and views on new and library content\nWillingness and eagerness to learn, iterate, and grow as new products and partnerships are launched\nHighly detail oriented, strong intuition, and organized\nAdvanced understanding of the YouTube algorithm\nExpertise of YouTube Analytics\nExpertise of YouTube CMS\nThe expected base salary range for this position is from $72,000 to $82,500.
