This role applies adult learning principles, instructional design practices, and strong facilitation skills to deliver engaging classroom instruction, assess learner needs, track learner progress, and adjust delivery methods to improve learning outcomes.\nKey Responsibilities:\nApply adult learning theories, instructional design principles, and established learning and development processes to support effective learner engagement.\n\nFacilitate open discussions and learner participation in both structured and less structured learning environments.\n\nAdapt delivery methods based on audienceneeds, learningobjectives, and feedback to improve learningeffectiveness.\n\nCollaborate effectively with team members, leadership, state partners, and project staff to support shared learning and development goals.\n\nAnalyze learning effectiveness and implement appropriate solutions, with guidance from the learning and development supervisor, while maintaining instructional design standards and adult learning principles.\n\nDocument learner status and progress throughout learning and development activities by maintaining accurate and up-to-date class trackers.\n\nCoordinate across state tasks and engage with employees across project areas to support consistent communication and execution.\n\nCoach learners, provide performance feedback, and maintain a safe, professional, and supportive learning environment.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED with 1 plus years’ experience working with the Indiana Eligibility Program including SNAP, TANF, Medicaid, or related public assistance programs.\nHigh School Diploma or GED and experience working with the Indiana Eligibility Program, including SNAP, TANF, Medicaid, or related public assistance programs. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant experience will be considered.\n\nIndividual will have extensive process and policy knowledge.\n\nExperience working in IEDSS, including navigating system functions, using online help resources, understanding case processing workflows, and applying system knowledge to support learner understanding of Indiana eligibility processes.\n\nKnowledge of the Indiana Public Assistance Programs (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Medicaid, and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) policy and guidelines including IEDSS online help. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience as a facilitator.\nExperience facilitating training in a classroom, virtual, or hybrid environment.\nExperience using IEDSS, Benefits Portal, or related case processing systems.\nAbility to coach learners, provide constructive feedback, and support varied learning needs.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to track learner progress and meet training timelines.\nCoaching, mentoring, or training experience.\nStrong oral communication and group presentation skills.\nClear and professional written communication skills. \nExperience in facilitation/trainer role with experience with Indiana Eligibility Public Assistance Programs. \nProven ability to maintain a high level of performance while consistently meeting established quality standards and delivering accurate, timely results.\nWhat We Offer:\nCompetitive hourly pay \nPaid time off and holidays \nPaid training \nCareer growth and advancement opportunities \nSupportive and inclusive work environment \nApply now and make an impact from day one\nPay Transparency:\nPay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information.For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based onvarious factorsincluding but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
