This role ensures implementation plans, timelines, staffing, and commitments made during proposals are realistic and can be successfully delivered after contract award.\nThe role supports proposal development by collaborating in the creation and validation of project plans, identifying risks and dependencies, and coordinating with PMO and delivery leaders to ensure teams are prepared for potential new work.\nKey Responsibilities\nServe as the primary PMO point of contact for implementation-related RFP and proposal activities.\n\nPartner with Proposal Management, Business Development, Solution Architects, and delivery leaders to develop realistic implementation approaches.\n\nDevelop and validate project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, staffing needs, and implementation timelines using delivery experience and historical project data to ensure proposed commitments are achievable.\n\nIdentify and address risks, assumptions, resource constraints, and unrealistic delivery commitments before proposals are submitted.\n\nProvide PMO leadership with visibility into upcoming opportunities, staffing needs, and implementation readiness.\n\nEnsure appropriate project leadership and resources are identified for anticipated contract awards.\n\nCoordinate the transition from proposal to implementation, ensuring project teams understand key commitments, risks, assumptions, and dependencies.\n\nDevelop and improve implementation planning standards, templates, and processes using lessons learned and actual project performance to improve future estimates and delivery commitments.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.\n\n7+ years of project management, program management, PMO, or implementation leadership experience.\n\nExperience developing and managing complex project plans for large-scale government implementations.\n\nStrong knowledge of project scheduling, resource planning, dependencies, critical path analysis, and project lifecycle management.\n\nExperience supporting RFP, proposal, bid, or pre-sales activities.\n\nStrong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.\n\nAbility to challenge assumptions and influence decisions across teams.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nPMP or similar project management certification.\n\nExperience with government, public sector, or large-scale technology implementations.\n\nExperience with portfolio, capacity, and resource planning.\n\nExperience working across proposal, sales, solution engineering, and delivery teams.\n\nFlexible Working\nAt Conduent, we want you to be yourself. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time.
