We also offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your personal and professional well-being.\nAbout the Role\nAs a Customer Service Representative supporting the Iowa Medicaid Program, you will serve as an initial point of contact for potential and existing program recipients and affiliates.\nIn this role, you will:\nProvide one-on-one telephone assistance to applicants, beneficiaries, and enrollees.\nAccurately document enrollment requests and status changes.\nEnter application and enrollment information into a web-based system for customers applying for the program by telephone.\nMaintain knowledge of Iowa Family Care rules, guidelines, and related program policies.\nProvide clear, complete, accurate, and objective information based on program requirements.\nDeliver professional and empathetic customer service while helping individuals navigate program information.\nRequirements\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nBasic understanding of a call center or customer service environment and quality monitoring processes.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nAbility to achieve results through knowledge, empathy, and commitment.\nAbility to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.\nAbility to successfully complete the required background process.\nEquipment\nEquipment is provided. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive.
