Paid, on-the-job training is provided.\nA Typical Day\nYou’ll begin your day by clocking in, preparing your workstation, and getting your scanning equipment ready for operation.\nThroughout the day, you will:\nPrepare and organize stacks of documents for scanning.\nLoad prepared document stacks into high-speed scanning equipment.\nScan documents accurately into electronic workflows.\nFollow established quality and processing procedures.\nReview your work to ensure accuracy and completeness.\nClean and perform routine maintenance on scanning equipment.\nRepeat the scanning and processing workflow to help meet daily production expectations.\nWork independently while contributing to the success of the overall production team.\nThe work is structured and process-driven, making consistency, focus, and attention to detail important parts of the job.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAs a Mailroom Scanning Associate, you will:\nScan document stacks into electronic workflows accurately and efficiently.\nSort and prepare documents according to established procedures.\nOperate scanning equipment and follow required operating procedures.\nClean and maintain scanning machines on a daily basis.\nPerform work according to quality standards and customer expectations.\nMaintain productivity while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.\nFollow procedures for handling confidential and sensitive information.\nWork independently while contributing to a team-oriented production environment.\nAdapt to changing priorities and production needs.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nWhat You’ll Need\nTo be successful in this role, you should have:\nA high school diploma or equivalent.\nBasic computer knowledge, including PC navigation and common software.\nThe ability to follow detailed sorting and processing procedures.\nStrong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.\nThe ability to stay focused while performing repetitive production tasks.\nGood organizational and multitasking skills.\nDependability and a strong commitment to attendance and punctuality.\nThe ability to learn new systems, equipment, and processes.\nThe ability to work the required schedule, including occasional Saturdays when needed.\nA minimum typing speed of 20 words per minute.\nLegal authorization to work permanently in the United States without requiring visa transfer or sponsorship.\nThe ability to successfully complete required background screening and drug testing.\nImportant Onsite Requirements\nThis is a fully onsite position in a secure production environment.\nBecause our associates work with sensitive and confidential information, Conduent maintains a no-phone and no-bag policy on the production floor.\nEmployees will have access to lockers for personal belongings. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive.
