This role serves as a key data and client subject matter expert, with responsibility for data quality, reporting, process analysis, and supporting data-intensive Defined Benefits initiatives.\nThe ideal candidate combines Defined Benefits knowledge with strong SQL, advanced Excel, analytical, and client-facing skills.\nKey Responsibilities\nServe as a Data Model and Defined Benefits SME, supporting client requirements and pension administration processes.\nOwn and monitor data quality, helping ensure accuracy and integrity across Defined Benefits processes.\nServe as a key stakeholder for data-intensive projects, including Actuarial Valuation.\nAnalyze data and operational processes to identify efficiencies, workload reductions, trends, and improvement opportunities.\nServe as the primary point of contact for reporting needs, providing meaningful insights to internal and external stakeholders.\nUse SQL and advanced Excel to analyze data, investigate discrepancies, validate results, and support reporting.\nAct as a steward for Conduent Data Requirements, partnering with Data Management and other teams.\nResearch and resolve escalated issues involving eligibility, participant data, systems, and service delivery.\nTriage system and data issues to confirm adherence to client and business requirements.\nServe as an SME for client plan rules, requirements, and expectations.\nLead client and system change initiatives from Discovery through Go-Live, including requirements, testing, implementation, and project coordination.\nMaintain Business Requirements, Administrative Guides, and process documentation, obtaining client sign-off when required.\nIdentify system and processing enhancements that improve quality, accuracy, and operational efficiency.\nPerform peer reviews and mentor junior team members.\nRequired Qualifications\nExperience and/or formal education in Defined Benefits pension administration.\nKnowledge of Defined Benefits plan rules, participant data, eligibility, and pension administration processes.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills.\nMinimum 2 years of SQL query execution and development experience.\nExperience with data analysis, data quality, reporting, and issue investigation.\nExperience researching and troubleshooting system, processing, or data issues.\nExperience working with business requirements and process documentation.\nFamiliarity with the project lifecycle and project management, including Discovery through Go-Live.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting Actuarial Valuation or other data-intensive Defined Benefits initiatives.\nExperience serving as a Data Model SME, Defined Benefits SME, or senior analyst.\nExperience partnering with Data Management or technical teams.\nExperience working directly with external clients.\nExperience mentoring or coaching junior team members.\nKey Skills\nDefined Benefits\nPension Administration\nSQL\nAdvanced Excel\nData Quality\nData Analysis\nData Models\nReporting\nActuarial Valuation\nParticipant Data\nProcess Improvement\nBusiness Requirements\nClient Management\nProject Lifecycle\nPay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive.
