The role spans on-premises and cloud environments and requires deep knowledge of Oracle technologies, scripting, and collaboration with development and infrastructure teams\nResponsibilities\nProvide Database Administration support for business-critical applications in production and non-production environments.\nEnsure DB availability.\nAdminister Oracle Databases on different operating systems including but not limited to: RHEL and Windows. \nInstall and configure Oracle Server 19c/23i RAC on multi node systems\nConfigure and maintain Oracle Cloud Control. \nUpgrade Oracle databases.\nCreate a reliable backup strategy. Ensure database backups are appropriately executedProactively manage and maintain security standards and controls\nApply Oracle patches that involve security patches / bug fixes in non-production and production environments.\nAdminister Oracle Goldegate, create extract, replicate, monitor replication, troubleshooting.\nAbility to Implement Security measures include SSL and encryption. \nDevelop and support database maintenance scripts. \nDevelop and maintain database design and support documentation.\nAbility to configure Active Data guard and automatic failover using Data guard Broker.\nAbility to configure container and pluggable databases\nProvide 24x7 on-call support.\nRequirements\nOracle Database Administration Professional with more than 7 yr experience.\nExperience with Oracle Cloud Control 13c or later\nOperating system experience in Linux\n3 yr experience with Oracle Golden Gate\n3 yr experience with administration of Oracle RAC\nOracle management tools (Data Guard, Active Data Guard, RMAN, Data Loader)\nExperience with administrating database on Exadata and Azure\nOracle Partitioning. \nStrong unix scripting\nGood problem solver.\nExcellent communication skills, Self-starter, ability to work in a team as well as take individual responsibility.\nPreferred Skills:\nDatabase Administrator experience with PostgreSQL\nExperience with administering MongoDB\nOracle certified Professional \nFlexible Working\nAt Conduent, we want you to be yourself.
