The successful candidate will work closely with our production team to ensure all products are completed properly within their timelines. The position involves a wide variety of challenges.\nROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS\nElectronic Production\nInstall, assemble, and repair electronic systems based on technical specifications.\nSurface mount and through-hole PCB assembly\nWire harness and mechanical assembly\nUsage of technical documentation for assembly\nComplete manufacturing orders, quality control checks and maintenance documentation.\nMaintain inventory control of electronic components and tools.\nHealth & Safety\nIdentify with and respect ConeTec’s safety culture, first and foremost.\nEnsure proper preparation and knowledge of all necessary safe operating procedures before beginning any job.\nReport any safety-related incidents, infractions, or near misses to the Manager and the HSE Officer immediately.\nKnow and follow the incident reporting protocol at all times.\nOther General Responsibilities\nCommunicate with the Manager as to any equipment problems or needs, as well as any field observations that might be of use.\nContribute to and promote a respectful work environment and participate in effective communication.\nEffective collaboration with others inside and outside the department.\nWork to upgrade their skills on an ongoing basis.\nCross train with one or more staff members to ensure that company needs met on a continual basis.\nSKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED\nEducation Requirements\nHigh School Diploma required.\nCompletion of a two (2) year diploma or certification as a Technologist certification preferred.\nDriver’s license and clean driving record.\nExperience Requirements\nAt least one (1) year of experience in Mechanical and electrical assembly is preferred.\nTechnical Skill Requirements\nExperience with Assembly, troubleshooting and repair of analog and digital instrumentation\nExperience with PCB (Print Circuit Boards) assembly\nSoldering skills\nHands-on experience with power tools\nSoft skill requirements:\nMust possess strong work ethic and represent the company in a professional manner.\nMust be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships.\nMust be responsible and work well independently or in a team setting with minimal supervision.\nMust enjoy performing a wide variety of duties and be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.\nDemonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and identify problems and provide potential solutions.\nDemonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changes in business processes, goals and priorities.\nAbility to take direction and feedback from senior, contemporary and junior staff.\n\nConeTec is an equal opportunity employer.
