You’ll design and optimise CI/CD pipelines, deliver infrastructure as code, and enable developers to deploy and operate systems more efficiently and reliably.\nYou’ll work closely with engineering teams, but your primary focus will be on automation, infrastructure, and deployment processes, rather than building product features.\n\nYou’ll be joining at a point where the DevOps foundations are still evolving, so there is real opportunity to shape standards, tooling, and ways of working.\n Why should you apply?\nBuild and scale DevOps foundations, not just maintain them\nCloud first, Azure environment with modern tooling\nHigh ownership across CI/CD, infrastructure, and reliability\nWork closely with engineering teams on large scale systems\nOpportunity to shape platform standards and practices\nWhat skills and experience do I need to succeed?\nEssential requirements\nExperience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles\nHands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform essential) \nExperience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines\nExperience working with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS also considered) \nExperience with containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) \nExperience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) \nScripting or coding experience (Python, PowerShell or similar)\nUnderstanding of security, compliance, and deployment practices\nComfortable working across infrastructure and development teams\nDesirable requirements\nExperience supporting .NET or web based applications\nExposure to hybrid or enterprise environments (cloud and on-prem) \nExperience with release strategies such as blue green or canary deployments\nExposure to financial services or data platforms\nExperience with modern cloud architecture patterns\n\nWhat do we offer?\nConfluence offers generous benefit packages for team members.
