Responsibilities:

• Work with supervisor and Monroe facility management to ensure production goals are met.
• Comply with all Monroe policies, safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Prepare boxes, foam-filled packing material and bubble wrap for packing drums.
• Learn AS400 system to ensure accuracy in material and labeling process.
• Ensure drums match correctly to serial numbers and other identification numbers on shipping labels.
• Pack drums securely to avoid shipping damage, recheck for label accuracy, seal, and place labels on box.
• Place on skid and transport via forklift to shipping.
• Requires ability to operate forklift meeting all safety requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read, follow directions, and good communication skills.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to work with others in a team environment.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Ability to stand and or walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds.
• May occasionally require the following activities: climbing, bending, reaching, lifting, twisting, standing, stooping, kneeling, finger/hand dexterity, grasping, talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
• Work is performed indoors.
