tools.\n\nResponsibilities: \nPerform end-to-end manual testing of web and mobile applications.\nDesign, write, review, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.\nExecute functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.\nValidate application functionality across UI, API, and database layers.\nWrite and execute SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting as part of day-to-day testing activities.\nPerform API testing using tools like Postman or similar.\nDebug issues by analyzing logs, API requests and responses, database records, and application behavior.\nWork closely with developers and product teams to identify root causes and ensure high-quality releases.\nParticipate in requirement analysis and identify test scenarios early in the development lifecycle.\nThink beyond the documented requirements and identify edge cases, negative scenarios, and usability issues.\nContribute to automation efforts wherever applicable.\nLeverage AI tools to improve testing efficiency, generate test ideas, analyze production issues, accelerate root cause analysis, and enhance overall QA productivity.\n\nRequirements: \nStrong experience in manual testing with excellent knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.\nHands-on experience testing both web and mobile applications.\nStrong experience in UI testing, API testing, and database testing.\nExcellent test case design skills with the ability to create effective positive, negative, boundary, and edge-case scenarios.\nStrong exploratory testing skills with a mindset to challenge and break the application.\nGood understanding of different testing methodologies and quality assurance best practices.\nStrong SQL knowledge.\nAbility to write complex SQL queries involving joins, aggregations, subqueries, and data validation.\nComfortable validating backend data independently during regular testing activities.\nStrong debugging and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to analyze application logs, API traffic, database records, and application behavior to identify the root cause of issues.\nGood understanding of client-server architecture and application workflows.\nBasic understanding of system architecture and high-level design (HLD), with the ability to understand how different components interact within the system.\nHands-on experience in UI automation.\nExperience with Playwright using TypeScript is a strong advantage.\nUnderstanding of automation frameworks and scripting concepts is desirable.\nWillingness to contribute to automation initiatives over time.\n\nNice To Have: \nExperience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar to improve testing productivity.\nAbility to use AI for test case and test data generation.\nAbility to use AI for exploratory testing ideas and edge-case identification.\nAbility to use AI for SQL query generation and optimization.\nAbility to use AI for API request creation and validation.\nAbility to use AI for debugging production issues and performing root cause analysis.\nAbility to use AI for writing
