As a strategy execution team, we take full ownership of every initiative from start to finish, ensuring that our clients see tangible results, not just ideas.\nPosition Description\nConnect Centric is seeking a Workday Integration and Support Engineer to support and improve our client’s Workday Financials, HCM, Payroll, Planning, and related enterprise systems. You will partner with Finance, IT, HR, Payroll, vendors, and implementation partners to maintain reliable day-to-day operations, resolve production issues, support integrations and reporting, and deliver practical system improvements.This role requires hands-on experience with Workday Studio and Workday Orchestrate, along with a strong understanding of Workday connectors, including Core Connectors. Experience with PECI and EIB is a plus. \nWhat You Will Do\nDesign, build, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday integrations with internal and external systems, using Workday Studio and Workday Orchestrate as key development tools.\nSupport connector-based integrations, including Core Connectors, and troubleshoot issues involving data flows, configuration, and downstream systems.\nBuild and support integrations using RaaS, REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP, XML, XSLT, and XPath, with EIB, PECI, PICOF, and WECI used where applicable.\nImprove integration reliability, scalability, monitoring, documentation, and support procedures.\nTriage and resolve Workday incidents, service requests, integration failures, and data issues; conduct root-cause analysis, document resolutions, escalate when needed, and communicate status clearly.\nSupport ITIL/ITSM processes and identify opportunities to improve service quality and operational stability.\nSupport Workday migrations, testing, release validation, change control, and production deployments; coordinate releases and enhancements with stakeholders and change control teams.\nValidate integration performance, data accuracy, report outputs, security access, and business process changes.\nCreate, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday reports, calculated fields, security configuration, and data extracts.\nSupport data mapping, transformation, conversion, reconciliation, validation, and issue resolution across Workday and downstream financial systems.\nPartner with business, functional, and technical teams, vendors, and implementation partners to translate requirements into supportable solutions and deliver enhancements.\nMaintain functional and technical documentation, support procedures, decision logs, and knowledge articles.\nRequired Qualifications\nAt least five years of experience supporting Workday in a production environment.\nHands-on experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting integrations using Workday Studio.\nHands-on experience with Workday Orchestrate to build and support integrations and orchestrated workflows.\nStrong understanding of Workday connectors, including Core Connectors, their configuration, data flows, and role in integrations with external systems.\nHands-on experience with Workday reports, calculated fields, security, business processes, integrations, and data validation.\nFamiliarity with RaaS, REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP, XML, XSLT, and XPath.\nStrong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, documentation, change control, and deployment support skills.\nExperience with data mapping, transformation, reconciliation, validation, reporting, monitoring, and production support.\nExperience with ITIL/ITSM support processes and the ability to communicate clearly with business and technical stakeholders.\nAbility to collaborate across business, technical, and vendor teams and manage multiple priorities in a business-critical support environment.\nAttention to detail and a service-oriented approach, with a commitment to data accuracy, documentation, operational reliability, and continuous improvement.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with PECI integrations.\nExperience building and supporting EIB integrations.\nWorkday production support experience across Financials, HCM, Payroll, or Planning.\nWorkday integration-related certification or ITIL Foundation certification.\nExperience with Workday implementations, data conversion, post-go-live stabilization, or major enhancements.\nExperience with MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar integration platforms; PeopleSoft; Atlassian tools; and external implementation partners.\nPosition Details\nPosition Type: Full-time W-2 employment.
