We don’t require formalwear; wear what helps you do your best work, while remaining presentable and client-ready when needed.\nWhat is the role?\nThe role requires the candidate to manage multiple clients simultaneously in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.\nThe following duties must be handled diligently:\nPreparation of Sales tax returns\nResearch tax issues and draft CRA letters\nAd hoc bookkeeping review\nRequired Experience\nExperience in a similar role or bookkeeping for 3+ years\nAn excellent understanding of the ins and outs of how an accounting system works\nWorking knowledge and experience with Xero or QBO is an asset\nDesignated CPA preferred\nWhat you bring to the table:\nGreat communicator. You’re confident, clear, and professional in both writing and conversation. Clients trust you, and teammates love collaborating with you.\nOrganized & efficient. You can juggle multiple clients and tasks without dropping a beat, and you are familiar withtask tracking tools ( i.e. Karbon, ClickUp, Monday, Asana, etc.)\nSelf-starter energy. You’re proactive, motivated, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.\nTech-savvy. You learn new software quickly and maybe even geek over automations and workflow hacks.\nAccounting know-how. Bookkeeping, invoicing, payables, tax rates, year-ends and more. Experience with tools like Xero, QBO, Hubdoc, and Dext is a big plus.\nYou just get it. You’re sharp, dynamic, and ready to become a key player in a fast-growing firm where your ideas make an impact.\nStrong internet.
