You will lead and develop a team of analysts, set technical and analytical standards, own the team’s priorities, and partner with stakeholders and senior leadership on high-impact initiatives.\nYou and your team will work primarily with dbt, BigQuery, Looker, and GitHub, while using AI-enabled tools such as Cursor, MCP integrations, n8n, and OpenClaw to automate workflows and scale how the team works.\nSuccess in this role requires strong leadership, technical depth, business understanding, and the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead, manage, and develop a team of Data Analysts, including setting goals, providing feedback, and supporting their professional growth.\nOwn the team’s priorities and analytical roadmap, ensuring the team focuses on the highest-impact business needs.\nDefine and drive technical and analytical standards across data modeling, SQL, dbt, testing, code reviews, and BI.\nPartner with stakeholders and senior leadership to understand business needs, define KPIs, and translate data into actionable recommendations.\nLead high-impact analyses and guide the development of reliable, scalable data models and Looker dashboards.\nEnsure data quality and lead investigations into anomalies, tracking issues, and inconsistent metrics.\nDrive AI-native ways of working by turning repeatable analyses and processes into reusable, automated workflows.\nStay hands-on with data, code, and analysis when tackling complex or high-impact problems.\nExperience & Skills\n5+ years of experience in business, growth, or data analytics within a fast-paced SaaS or web company, including 2+ years of direct people management experience leading a team of Data Analysts.\nStrong business understanding and the ability to translate business needs into clear analytical priorities and actionable insights.\nStrong technical leadership and experience establishing analytics and engineering best practices.\nAdvanced SQL and production experience with dbt, including data modeling, testing, lineage, and CI.\nExperience with Git-based development and code review workflows.\nExperience building decision-oriented dashboards in Looker or a comparable BI platform.\nPractical experience using AI agents in analytical or engineering workflows.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.\nA proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-moving environment.\nNice to have\nExperience designing and implementing a governed semantic layer.\nPython.\nExperience with statistics, experimentation, or A/B testing.\nExperience with B2B, multi-tenant SaaS businesses.\nExperience building agent skills, n8n workflows, Cursor projects, or internal data agents.\n#LI-Hybrid\nJoining Connecteam Is The Smart Move:\nWe build our people up.
