Our team of mobility and infrastructure specialists has a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects, managing rapid growth, and supporting the nationwide rollout of critical charging infrastructure.\nThe Opportunity:\nWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Qualified Supervisor to join our growing Operations team and play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of electrical compliance, safety, and quality across our network.\nThe successful candidate will possess strong technical expertise in electrical installations, inspection and testing, and regulatory compliance, alongside excellent leadership and communication skills. Working closely with field engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders, you will provide technical oversight, ensure compliance with industry standards, and support the successful delivery and operation of Connected Kerb's charging infrastructure.\nThis is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing business at the forefront of the UK's electric vehicle revolution and make a meaningful contribution to the future of sustainable transport.\nRequirements\n Key Responsibilities:\nProvide electrical supervision and technical oversight to a team of field-based engineers and subcontractors.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, internal procedures, quality standards, industry regulations, and Health & Safety requirements.\nOversee all electrical activities across both project delivery and operational functions, including planned and reactive maintenance.\nEnsure all work is carried out in accordance with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations, Health & Safety legislation, and company standards.\nReview, audit, and approve electrical certification, including Electrical Installation Certificates (EICs), Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), and Minor Works Certificates.\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders to plan, coordinate, and deliver projects within agreed timeframes and budgets.\nProvide technical electrical support and expert advice to clients, contractors, field engineers, and internal teams.\nDeliver training, coaching, and mentorship to engineers and employees, promoting continuous improvement and professional development.\nMaintain accurate and comprehensive records of inspections, certifications, completed works, materials used, and project progress.\nEnsure compliance with all relevant electrical regulations, standards, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.\nConduct site inspections, audits, and quality assurance checks to ensure safe and compliant installations.\nCarry out inspection, testing, commissioning, and certification of electrical systems and equipment as required.\nSupport the commissioning of equipment on-site and provide remote technical assistance, including communication with CK operating systems.\nPerform testing and verification of electrical components and systems to ensure safe, reliable, and effective operation.\nInvestigate and resolve electrical issues, providing guidance and support to field teams when required.\nEnsure all accidents, incidents, near misses, and non-conformances are reported, documented, and escalated in line with company procedures.\nSupport the Operations team as required, providing specialist electrical expertise across the business.\nWorking Requirements\n· This is a hybrid role requiring travel to operational sites as necessary to fulfil the responsibilities of the position.\n· Occasional attendance at the Central London office will be required for team meetings, company events, and business updates.\nKey competencies/behaviours:\nProven experience in an electrical supervisory role or similar position.\nStrong electrical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret electrical certificates\nExcellent leadership skills with a track record of managing teams effectively.\nStrong project management abilities, including planning, execution, and monitoring of projects.\nFluent in English with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.\nAbility to maintain a safe working environment while promoting best practices among team members.\nHighly self-driven and resourceful with a proactive mindset\nSolid administrative capabilities with attention to detail\nWell-organised and methodical in approach\nSkilled in effective prioritisation and forward planning\nStrong background in customer service and client-facing roles\nExcellent communicator with the ability to engage at all organisational levels\nProactive and positive, 'can do' attitude\n Qualifications, Skills and Experience:\nFully qualified electrician, with experience in the highway, commercial & domestic sectors\nNVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification\n18th Edition\n2391 Testing & Inspection\nEV qualifications 2391 or equivalent\nAt least 5 years of experience as a qualified electrician\nProficient in Microsoft Office, standard PC applications, Electrical Certification Software\nA professional approach to all aspects of work\nFull clean valid UK driving licence (proof of zero penalties and no previous convictions essential)\nAn understanding of industry governance and compliance\nEV Car charging experience (preferred but not essential)\nComfortable with basic software set ups of our chargers and use of IT equipment -
