The position also supports MEDCHART DBA in the monitoring and maintenance of the MEDCHART SQL databases, disaster recovery, backup monitoring, and the ability to research slow running Databases and queries. Works with external partners to authorize and troubleshooting connections to other systems both DoW and Commercial.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssists with cloud migration planning and implementation, and cloud environment modernization.\nMust have hands-on work experience with Azure Cloud ecosystem maintaining, patching, and upgrading servers using both the Web Portal and through scripting.\nMust have the ability to generate and understand DISA STIG checklists using third party tools to scan and report Security Compliance.\nResponsible for supporting MEDCHART DBA in the monitoring and maintenance of the MEDCHART SQL databases which includes disaster recovery, backup monitoring, and the ability to research slow running Databases and queries.\nExtensive collaboration with external partners to authorize and troubleshoot connections to other systems both DoD and Commercial.\nAssist with ongoing cloud architecture planning, configuration, migration, enhancement, and modernization activities for MEDCHART. \nCoordinate full regression testing and operational validation after migration or cloud optimization work.\nAssist with the development and maintenance of migration and modernization plans, schedules, LOEs, and technical recommendations for Government review/approval.\nAssist with developing and maintaining database disaster recovery plans.\nProgram/project status meetings - weekly or as directed.\nAssess upcoming hosting/cloud capabilities that may reduce attack surface, improve customer experience/performance, or reduce sustainment cost.\nRequirements\n8+ years of experience in a technical field.\nBS in a technical field or equivalent relevant experience, MS preferred.\nMust have access NACI (ANACI / Tier 3) Active Secret Clearance.\nPlan and facilitate data/code movement from existing hosting facilities to target environments and validate completeness post-migration. \nExperienced supporting MEDCHART databases, scripts, and SQL packages by evaluating and optimizing existing database systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.\nExperience planning cloud migrations and modernization for accredited Government or DoD information systems.\nExperience with Microsoft Azure Cloud.\nExperience with environment planning, data/code migration, cloud cost optimization, resilience, performance tuning, and DevSecOps pipelines.\nAbility to prepare detailed level-of-effort estimates, migration plans, modernization plans, schedules, architecture recommendations, and technical briefings.\nExperience with PowerShell and scripting.\nExperienced with dev/sec/ops like CI/CD, cloud platform administrative/architecture tools, architecture modeling/documentation tools, security and compliance documentation tools, Database/data migration and validation tooling.\nExperience with AI coding and scripting tools.\nExperience with database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external Security regulations and standards.\nExperience with Integrated Development Environments (IDE) such as Visual Studio or Eclipse\nExperience with Database development tools (Oracle/SQL Server clients), source control tools, static code analysis, and testing tools.\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience with Dynamic State Configuration (DSC) Scripting.\nKnowledge of Firewall concepts and implementation.\nTotal Rewards Statement:\nWe believe in fairness and clarity throughout our hiring process.
