This requires the ability to deploy to any DLA site in support of installation or troubleshooting activities.\nKey Responsibilities:\nIn this role you will work under general supervision, developing the requirements of a product from inception to conclusion. Specific duties for this position include but aren't limited to:\nDevelops required specifications for simple to moderately complex problems. \nEvaluate and mitigate risk for network STIG compliance\nConfigure and deploy devices in accordance with DLA IOEE and IOSEE device configuration standards\nManage DLA IPv4 and IPv6 address space\nImplement hardware/software technology refreshes and upgrades\nConduct Site Surveys to determine space requirements, base infrastructure requirements, etc.\nInstallation and Design planning\nLast Half Mile Support connecting circuits to IOEE points of presence via assigned base infrastructure\nCircuit ordering/tracking using DISA Storefront\nClassified Network Support (Type-1 encryptors, GEM-X, re-keying procedures)\nIntegration with Services and coalition networks as required\nTier III troubleshooting (24x7x365 on-call support)\nDevelop network monitoring capabilities based on industry best network practices and methodologies to maintain real-time situational awareness of the IOEE/IOSEE\nConduct network engineering planning and analysis\nTest and implementation planning and analysis\nTechnical support engineering including, but not limited to:\na. System interoperability\nb. Service definitions and specifications\nc. Network service design and installation\nd. Equipment testing and validation\ne. Video teleconferencing, imaging, training, and staging, and installation\nTrack DLA DISN sub-network assets from their design, development, deployment, implementation, use and eventual deactivation and/or destruction\nCoordinates with the Vendor PM, COTRs, and government user representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters.\nAbility to travel around 3 times per year\nRequirements\nExperience: Five (5) years of progressive Information Technology (IT) experience including at least two projects in technical areas included in the.
