This role supports cross-functional teams and focuses on enhancing content across the assigned product line that increases the efficacy of product development across the organization.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities:\nSets goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results\nTypically manages a department or small unit that includes multiple teams\nInfluences others to accept practices and approaches\nCommunicates and influences executive leadership\nOwns short to mid-term execution of functional strategy and the operational direction of the Product Management team\nLeads and prioritizes the daily activities of the team\nManages, mentors, and coaches to develop a collaborative and dynamic team\nCoordinates cross-functional communication to align on initiatives and strategies to drive efficiency\nParticipates in Go-To-Market (GTM) messaging, positioning, and strategy\nInteracts with customers and prospects to define market requirements, and translate these requirements into product requirements that the engineering team can deliver within specification, on time, and within budget\nRepresents ConnectWise companies in key customer engagements, at analyst events, conferences and other venues • Builds, measures, and refines product requirements and user experience analysis process\nCo-creates and manages product lifecycle management and software development lifecycle \nIdentifies, develops, and manages contractual, technical, and consulting relationships with strategic partners/customers and providers, including joint ventures, subsidiary relationships, and projects\nGathers, validates, and evaluates product/market requirements through market and customer research, competitive, and product research\nDevelops functional specifications for assigned product features to include effective product and user interface design, rapid prototyping, product validation testing, and usability testing, while ensuring that the product strategy is adhered to throughout the product life cycle\nDevelops and delivers materials to the appropriate marketing and sales organizations which convey the purpose and details of the product, definition of its user, benefits to the customer, customization capabilities, and competitive comparison\nLeads the development, approval, training, and communication of new products/product changes and their associated customer, operational, system, & process impacts to the various internal organizations\nMonitors internal processes for efficiency and validity pre & post product launch/changes\nDelivers timely and high-quality product releases that solve our partners business problems\nKnowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:\nExceptional leadership and customer service skills\nAbility to address complex problems that often require extensive investigation and analysis\nWillingness to work in a team environment • Strong organizational skills to give the team direction\nProfessional presence suitable for interaction in meetings, in-person, or via email, as well as at internal and external facing events • Excellent presentation and communication skills\nCritical thinking and problem resolution skills\nProject management, time-management, analytical skills\nAbility to be pro-active with a sense of urgency\nStrong ability to read, understand and communicate technical documentation\nHighly motivated person with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment that is continually changing\nEducational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:\nBachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent business experience \n8+ years of relevant experience\n5+ years of managerial experience\nPreferred: Experience with B2B software products, services in MSP industry, and product development\nWorking Conditions:\nOnsite/Hybrid/Remote depending on location\n20-30% travel may be required\nConnectWise is an Equal Opportunity Employer, dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive workforce and providing a workplace free from discrimination and harassment.
