This role works in partnership with the Engineering teams to provide support on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, and potential problems\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities:\nProvides support to the Quality Engineering teams, with a high attention to detail in a disciplined agileenvironment\n\n Researches, analyzes, and documents findings• May influence others within the Engineering team through the explanation of facts, policies, andpractices\n\nTests complex API, web, and mobile based applications that reference database back-end systems\nCreates and maintains automated test cases, executes test suites, reviews and diagnoses reported bugs, and ensures overall system quality prior to a customer release\nDesigns, develops, maintains, and troubleshoots automated suites of tests through continuous integration for value added feedback\nDerives testing requirements throughout the development cycle\nReproduces, debugs, and isolates problems and verifies fixes\nAssists in creation of software artifacts including test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports\nPlans test schedules and/or strategies in accordance with project scope and delivery dates\nReviews software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, and completeness and to mitigate risks\nProvides feedback and recommendations on software usability and functionality\nIdentifies program deviance from standards and suggests modifications to ensure compliance\nDevelops and specifies standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness\nConducts historical analyses of test results\nCollaborates with colleagues to evaluate or diagnose problems and recommend possible solutions\nKnowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:\nAbility to work independently on projects and processes with general supervision\nPractical knowledge of applicable work area\nAbility to situationally adapt and understand new technology/processes as per business requirement\nStrong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies\nFamiliarity with object-oriented programming language\nKnowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)\nKnowledge of builds and deployments\nAbility to update base level classes without causing issues\nStrong problem-solving skills\nStrong organization and time management skills with the ability to meet reasonable deadlines\nStrong team player with the ability to build positive and collaborative relationships\nKnowledge of programming concepts and ability to read complex manual test c ases and implement newactions, fragments, and scripts\n\nEducational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:\nBachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent business experience\n3+ years of relevant experience\nWorking Conditions:\nOnsite/Hybrid/Remote depending on location\n0-10% travel may be required\nConnectWise is an Equal Opportunity Employer, dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive workforce and providing a workplace free from discrimination and harassment.
