Our team of highly experienced professionals assists financial executives with their most complex business needs, including Accounting Advisory, Financial Operations, IPO, M&A, and Managed Services.\n Responsibilities:\nLead the engagement team to perform financial and accounting due diligence procedures for buy-side or sell-side due diligence engagements\nStrengthen client relationships and generate additional engagement opportunities through excellent quality, timely execution, and strategic approach to service delivery\nIdentifying and communicating (i) critical deal issues, (ii) the strength and weakness of the business against industry benchmarks to client management that could impact the purchase price or the deal structure\nChallenging assumptions related to future financial projections\nIdentifying critical post-closing matters to be addressed to ensure improvements in profitability and cash flows\nInteracting extensively with personnel of the target companies and the client\nReviewing and preparing due diligence reports outlining analyses and findings\nAssisting with the finalization of (i) opening balance sheet/ of purchase price allocations, and (ii) closing working capital calculations.\nEnsure work is delivered timely and in accordance with firm standards\nSupervise, coach, and mentor all levels of staff. Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback and training. Develop and communicate workplace culture and code of conduct\nUtilizing Excel to create FDD data pack end-to-end - advanced formulas, index match, power query, etc.\n Desired Skills & Experience:\n6-7 years of public accounting or FDD experience\nBachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent required\nCPA license\nAbility to manage teams and own their work product\nHardworking, detail-oriented, and able to motivate engagement teams\nProfessional and personable demeanor\nProven solid verbal and written communication skills\nPassion for helping clients with a strong interest in technical accounting\nStrong technical accounting knowledge of GAAP\nExperience and familiarity with technology industries preferred\nAbility to act and lead as the client contact\nProficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills\nSome travel may be required (about 10%)\nConnor Group is committed to celebrating the value of diversity in a globally connected business world.
