Our team of highly experienced professionals assists financial executives with their most complex business needs, including Accounting Advisory, Financial Operations, IPO, M&A, and Managed Services.\nResponsibilities:\nAdd value through complex transactions including IPOs, SPACs, M&A, and Divestitures.\nAdd value to clients to successfully prepare and complete audits\nBegin to understand and assist clients in technical topics and financial reporting areas which can include, but are not limited to:\nRevenue recognition\nStock-based compensation\nLeases\nFixed assets\nAccrued expenses and other liabilities\nFinancial statement preparation\nAccount reconciliations and cut-off\nIncome statement classification and allocation\nSEC reporting\nQuarterization\nDetailed revenue analysis and revenue recognition\nAssist in drafting or review complex sets of financial statements with disclosures\nAssist in SEC Reporting, including 10K, 10Q and other filings\nIdentification and application of technical accounting guidance to client situations\nIdentify, analyze, and discuss generally accepted accounting principles on client projects, when necessary, with the Manager, Senior Manager and engagement partner\nIdentify complex accounting issues and bring them to the attention of engagement leaders for resolution\nDesired Skills & Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent required\n2-5 years of prior experience in public accounting required\nCPA preferred or actively pursuing completion of certification\nAbility to take responsibility and account for his/her own work\nHard working, detail oriented and ability to work independently\nAbility to work well in a team atmosphere\nProfessional and personable demeanor\nProven solid verbal and written communication skills\nPassion for helping clients with a strong interest in technical accounting\nAptitude for technical accounting research and self-education, desire to learn and be an expert\nProficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills\nSome travel required (About 10%)\nConnor Group is committed to celebrating the value of diversity in a globally connected business world.
