We are the largest crude oil producer in Alaska and have major ownership interests in the Prudhoe Bay, Kuparuk and Western North Slope asset areas. Additionally, we are one of Alaska’s largest owners of state, federal and fee exploration leases, with approximately one million net undeveloped acres at year-end 2025. Alaska operations contributed 12 percent of our consolidated liquids production and one percent of our consolidated natural gas production.\nIn 2025, net crude oil production for Alaska averaged 199 MBOED.\nPosition Overview\nThe Materials Operations Lead provides leadership, governance, and functional coordination for Materials Management activities supporting Alaska operations.\nThis position serves as the primary focal point for:\nInventory management and control\nMaterials optimization\nPhysical inventory and cycle count governance\nWarehouse and logistics integration\nHub and Spoke materials network integration\nSAP Materials Management process discipline\nMaterial master and inventory data quality\nMaterial readiness for Operations, Maintenance, Drilling, and Projects\nContinuous improvement and digital transformation\nThe Materials Operations Lead connects Supply Chain, Operations, Maintenance, Drilling, Projects, Warehousing, and Logistics to align material demand, inventory investment, and operational priorities.\nThe position provides functional oversight of the Anchorage Distribution Center and the broader Alaska integrated material flow. Serves as the primary integration point for the Alaska hub-and-spoke materials and logistics network, coordinating alignment across ADC, North Slope warehouses, logistics resources, transportation providers, and operational customers.\nYour responsibilities may include:\nLead Alaska inventory governance, inventory accuracy, and inventory optimization programs.\nCoordinate material readiness activities supporting operations, maintenance, drilling, projects, and turnarounds.\nServe as the Alaska business focal point for SAP Materials Management, inventory management, and data governance processes.\nAnalyze inventory, warehouse, logistics, and materials performance to identify risks and improvement opportunities.\nDevelop performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting to support operational and leadership decision-making.\nLead cross-functional efforts to resolve inventory, planning, master data, and material availability issues.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process standardization, automation, inventory technologies, and operational excellence.\nProvide functional leadership and collaborate across Supply Chain, Operations, Maintenance, Drilling, Projects, Finance, Procurement, and Logistics to improve business performance.\nSuccess Profile:\nTo thrive in this role, you’ll demonstrate the following Leadership Competencies:\nPartners Collaboratively: Builds strong relationships based on trust and seeks opportunities to collaborate across the matrix/organizational boundaries to achieve business goals.\nLeads Change: Drives thoughtful and pragmatic change by encouraging innovative thinking and continuous improvement.
