Accounting Intern

As an Accounting Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the finance operations of a luxury hospitality environment. Working closely with the Finance team, you will support daily accounting activities, financial reporting processes, and administrative tasks while developing valuable professional skills within a world-renowned hotel brand.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of financial records and documentation.
• Assist with invoice processing, filing, and reconciliations.
• Help monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Support month-end closing procedures and financial reporting processes.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation is filed and archived.
• Assist in data entry and updating accounting systems and spreadsheets.
• Collaborate with different hotel departments to gather financial information and supporting documentation.
• Provide administrative support to the Finance team as required.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong interest in accounting and financial operations within the hospitality industry.
• Good analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Organized, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Greek language skills are a plus.
