Job duties will vary considerably from day to day as this is a very diverse position. The compensation for this position will vary depending on the project, location and experience of the individual and will be evaluated by the hiring supervisor at time of hire.\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS\n· Work safely in potentially hazardous environments.\n· Operate high pressure power washing equipment.\n· Offer labor support to crews when equipment operating is not the primary task at hand.\n· Lift/Carry heavy objects up to 50#\n· Proficiently use hand and power tools\n· General construction and excavation skills\n·Shows competency and ability to operate various pieces of heavy equipment and or the specific equipment the individual is being hired to operate.\no Earth moving equipment.\n§ Skidsteer, compaction equipment, loaders\no Forklifts or powered industrial trucks.\no Arial lifts and platforms\no Hydrovacs\no CDL required transport (i.e. Side Dumps, Dump Truck, Etc.)\no Specialized equipment\nAbility to perform general maintenance and inspections of the equipment they will be operating.\nComprehend project plans and documents.\nlayout excavation construction zones\nParticipate in daily JSA meetings.\nComplete daily equipment or vehicle inspections\nSafely climb in and out of elevated equipment.\nassist in daily inspection of safety equipment.\nOperator or CDL driver 2 includes the above responsibilities as well as the below skills/traits.\nShows competency and ability to operate various pieces of heavy equipment and or the specific equipment the individual is being hired to operate.\n§ Trackhoe, Dozer, motor grader, Scraper and other specialized equipment\n§ Operate all functions of a hydrovac independently.\no Preform basic maintenance functions on the equipment they are assigned to operate.\no Ability to lead a crew effectively and safely in the absence of the direct supervisor.\no Ability to mentor and train other operators on skill sets of various advanced equipment.\no Ability to operate a lowboy trailer, gooseneck trailer or side dump.\no Exemplifies safety conscious decisions when working on a daily basis\no Exemplifies exception professionalism with customers and peers at all times.\no Ability to preform competent DOT OQ tasks and ability to complete competent DOT OQ’ testing for qualifications\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY\nThis position is not a supervisory role but will remain accountable to help ensure all co-workers are working in a manner that is conducive to the safety of everyone around. This position will report directly to their respective supervisor.\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nThis position will be faced with varying working conditions. Inclement and/or extreme weather may be a factor as well as other unforeseen conditions.
