Working under the direction of Operations Leadership, this role coordinates assigned projects, develops implementation plans based on established objectives, supports practice-level execution, and tracks progress through implementation and stabilization.The position serves as a hands-on implementation resource for practice managers, providers, and operational leadership. Key areas of project support may include provider productivity, patient access, scheduling optimization, AthenaOne workflow adoption, patient experience, operational efficiency, and value-based care initiatives.\nThis role is primarily responsible for project coordination, implementation, and practice-level support. The position may identify opportunities and recommend solutions based on observations and operational data; however, strategic direction, prioritization of organizational initiatives, operational policy, ongoing practice performance management, and final decision-making remain with Operations Leadership and designated regional or practice leaders.\nThe duties include, but are not limited to:\nProject Coordination & Implementation\nCoordinate implementation of operational projects and initiatives assigned by Operations Leadership.\n\nDevelop andmaintainproject plans, timelines, implementation schedules, and deliverables based on established projectobjectives.\n\nCoordinate project activities across participating practices and cross-functional departments.\n\nTrack milestones, action items, risks, dependencies, and project status and provide regular updates to Operations Leadership.\n\nFollow up with assigned stakeholders to supporttimelycompletion of project deliverables and action items.\n\nIdentifyimplementation barriers and work withappropriate stakeholdersto resolve project-level issues within the established scope.\n\nEscalate significant operational issues, resource needs, or matters requiring leadership decisions to theappropriate operationalleader.\n\nSupport assigned projects through implementation, stabilization, and transition to ongoing operational ownership.\n\nPractice Implementation Support\nServe as a field-based implementation resource for practice managers, providers, and frontline staff during assigned operational initiatives.\n\nSupport practices with implementation of approved workflows, processes, tools, and organizational standards.\n\nProvide hands-on and at-the-elbow support during operational rollouts and process changes.\n\nConduct onsite observations and assessments toidentifyworkflow adoption gaps and implementation barriers.\n\nAssistpractice leadership with implementation of approved changes related to patient access, scheduling, provider templates, patient flow, and operational efficiency.\n\nSupportAthenaOneworkflow implementation, optimization, training, and adoption.\n\nDevelop workflow documentation, implementation tools, and training resources to support consistent execution.\n\nProvide follow-up support after implementation to reinforce established workflows andidentifyissues requiringadditionalintervention or leadership direction.\n\nPerformance & Operational Support\nTrack operational measures associated with assigned initiatives, including provider productivity, patient access, schedulingutilization, quality performance, patient experience, and value-based care.\n\nCompile and analyze operational information toidentifytrends, implementation gaps, and areas requiringadditionalsupport.\n\nPresent findings and potential opportunities to Operations Leadership to inform operational decision-making.\n\nSupport implementation of leadership-approved performance improvement initiatives and corrective action plans.\n\nAssistpractices with implementation of Annual Wellness Visits, care management, quality measures, attribution growth, and other established value-based care initiatives.\n\nTrack adoption and effectiveness of implemented workflows and report results to leadership.\n\nIdentifyeffective workflows or implementation approaches that may be considered for use acrossadditionalpractices.\n\nCollaboration & Communication\nCoordinate with Regional Vice Presidents, District Directors, Practice Managers, Clinical Leadership, IT, Analytics, Revenue Cycle, Care Management, and other departments on assigned projects.\n\nFacilitate project meetings andmaintaindocumentation, action items, timelines, and follow-up activities.\n\nMaintain project-level accountability by following up on agreed-upon actions and communicating delays or barriers to appropriate stakeholders.\n\nCommunicate implementation updates, barriers, risks, and project status to Operations Leadership and otherappropriate stakeholders.\n\nDevelop implementation tools, training materials, workflow documentation, and project resources as needed.\n\nSupport communication and change management activities associated with assigned operational initiatives.\n\nEscalate matters requiring operational decisions, changes in organizational direction,additionalresources, or ongoing performance management to theappropriate operationalleader.\n\nQualifications or Education, Training and Experience\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field, or equivalent experience.\n\n3+ years of healthcare operations or project implementation experience within a physician practice, medical group, MSO, IPA, or health system environment.\n\nExperience supporting multiple ambulatory practice locations.\n\nDirect experience withAthenaOne.\n\nExperience supporting implementation and adoption of operational workflows.\n\nStrong project coordination, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to analyze operational data and communicate findings to leadership.\n\nExcellent communication and relationship-building skills.\n\nWillingness to travel regularly throughout the region.\n\nPreferred\nExperience in value-based care environments.\n\nExperience supporting primary care and specialty physician practices.\n\nLean, Six Sigma, or Project Management certification.\n\nExperience with provider productivity, scheduling optimization, and patient access initiatives.\n\nExperience supportingAthenaOneworkflow optimization.\n\nExperience supporting quality improvement and population health initiatives.\n\nFeatured
