In this role, you will architect, build, optimize, and maintain high-performance Python applications deployed entirely across Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\nYou will leverage Claude Code as your primary AI-assisted development environment to accelerate delivery cycles, enhance code quality, generate comprehensive test suites, and perform rigorous post-build security validations.\nThe ideal candidate blends solid software engineering fundamentals with modern AI-native development workflows, event-driven cloud architecture, and a strong security-first mindset.\nKey Responsibilities:\nApplication Development & Architecture\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, and maintain resilient Python applications utilizing Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, and Compute Engine.\nBuild scalable microservices and event-driven solutions using Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Tasks, and Eventarc.\nDevelop and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI and gRPC services with robust authentication, versioning, and performance optimization.\nWrite clean, maintainable, modular Python code following PEP 8 standards, static typing practices, and software engineering best practices.\nParticipate in technical design sessions, sprint planning, code reviews, and architecture discussions.\nCloud Infrastructure & DevOps\nDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.\nConfigure and support CI/CD pipelines utilizing Cloud Build, Artifact Registry, Cloud Deploy, and GitHub Actions.\nImplement monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting strategies using Google Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Trace.\nSupport enterprise data platforms including BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Firestore, Cloud Spanner, and Cloud Storage.\nAssist in implementing secure cloud architecture practices through IAM, workload identity federation, and least-privilege access controls.\nAI-Assisted Development\nUtilize Claude Code and modern AI coding assistants to accelerate development, refactoring, testing, and documentation efforts.\nDesign effective prompts and workflows that produce reliable, scalable, and production-ready code.\nReview, validate, and enhance AI-generated output to ensure quality, maintainability, and security.\nGenerate automated testing frameworks, OpenAPI documentation, and developer resources using AI-assisted tools.\nSupport adoption of AI-enabled software development life cycle (SDLC) best practices across the technology organization.\nSecurity & Compliance\nConduct application security assessments using tools such as Bandit, Semgrep, Snyk, and SonarQube.\nImplement OWASP-aligned secure coding standards, input validation, and secure API development practices.\nManage secrets and credentials through Google Secret Manager and Cloud KMS.\nEnsure solutions comply with applicable enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA when required.\nQualifications/Requirements:\nRequired: Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, with professional fluency in speaking, reading, and writing both languages.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.\n3 - 5 years of professional software development experience building enterprise applications.\nStrong proficiency with Python 3.10+ and modern application development frameworks including FastAPI.\nExperience with asynchronous programming, object-oriented design principles, and API development.\nExperience designing and deploying containerized applications in Google Cloud Platform environments.\nHands-on experience with Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Firestore, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Storage.\nExperience developing Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform.\nExperience implementing automated testing frameworks with pytest, unittest, or similar tools.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.\nExperience working with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nGoogle Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Developer certification.\nGoogle Cloud Professional Cloud Security Engineer or Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer certification.\nExperience integrating enterprise platforms such as Workday, Salesforce, Deltek Vantagepoint, or Ironclad.\nFamiliarity with Vertex AI, Document AI, Gemini APIs, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or other AI/ML development frameworks.\nExperience with container security, Binary Authorization, Kubernetes security controls, and runtime monitoring solutions.\nContributions to open-source projects, Python packages, or cloud-native development tools.\nStrong understanding of secure software development practices and application security principles.\nWorking Hours:\nFull Time;
