This position provides support to the restoration inspection group, for a PCWP Capital Improvement Program. The Document Engineer is accountable for timely and accurate input of data, document production and reporting, and throughout review and analysis of information received from restoration inspectors, restoration managers, and City of Chicago project coordination office (PCO).\nKey Responsibilities:\nPreparation of project information via retrieval and management (document control) of archived historical documentation necessary for project assessment and execution\nAssembly and management of completed project documentation for use by construction management and operations teams\nData entry to assist with project status tracking in Microsoft® Excel and Primavera® Version 6 database\nFormal correspondence (electronic and non-electronic) with both internal and external entities\nGeneral assistance to the PCWP technical delivery teams by coordinating project files, preparing project progress reports, maintaining files, and any other related duty as assigned or requested\nThis position has enough knowledge of its own activities and responsibilities to work independently\nQualifications/Requirements:\nBachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or Engineering, is required\nMinimum of 2 years experience in Construction, Engineering, or related field preferred\nProficiency with Microsoft tools, including MSWord, Outlook, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint \nGood oral and written communication skills\nExcellent teamwork, coordination and collaboration skills \nAbility to respond proactively in a high-paced environment and willingness to adjust and respond effectively to changes \nGood organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload, problem-solve, and meet deadlines set by the program leadership team \nWhat’s In It For You:\nCompany-paid life and disability insurance\nOptional benefits like pet insurance, legal, and supplemental health plans\n401(k) with day-one eligibility.
