You will design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions that transform complex data into actionable insights.\nWorking closely with project teams and client stakeholders, you will gather requirements, develop data models, and deliver dashboards that support broader analytics and digital transformation initiatives. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. This is a full-time, on-site position.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign and develop Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and paginated reports aligned to client requirements\nBuild and optimize DAX measures, Power Query (M) transformations, and row-level security\nEngage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate functional needs into technical specifications and scalable data models\nBuild SSRS reports and contribute to SSAS tabular model development as part of broader BI architectures\nDevelop and maintain ETL processes using SSIS, Power Query, Azure Data Factory, or similar tools, including data profiling and quality validation\nDevelop KPIs and performance metrics to support operational and strategic decision-making\nPerform testing, validation, performance tuning, and support user acceptance testing (UAT)\nManage assigned tasks and workstreams across concurrent client engagements, proactively communicating progress, risks, and blockers\nDemonstrate ownership of assigned deliverables, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with client expectations\nParticipate in client-facing meetings, demos, and walkthroughs, presenting solutions clearly and professionally\nProduce clear, well-structured documentation including data dictionaries, technical designs, and user guides\nContribute to internal best practices, reusable assets, and continuous improvement initiatives\nQualifications/Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or a related field\n2-4 years of experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports required.\nMinimum of 2 years of experience supporting capital programs, construction projects, or project management initiatives, with demonstrated experience analyzing project performance, schedules, costs, risks, and key project metrics.\nMinimum of 2 years of experience working with project controls data, including cost management, scheduling, forecasting, budgeting, resource planning, earned value management (EVM), or project performance reporting within Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms.\nPrevious experience designing and developing Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and paginated reports aligned to client needs strongly required\nStrong experience with DAX, Power Query (M), and semantic data modeling\nSolid understanding of star schema and tabular modeling principles\nHands-on experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)\nExperience with ETL tools such as SSIS or equivalent data integration technologies, required.\nStrong SQL / T-SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, and performance tuning\nExperience working with large datasets and multiple data sources\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nEffective written and verbal communication skills\nAdditional Requirements / Skills\nMicrosoft certifications such as PL-300, or progress toward DP-500 / DP-600\nExperience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Direct Lake)\nFamiliarity with Azure data services (Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Lake)\nExperience with Git-based version control and deployment pipelines\nExposure to additional BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, Oracle BI Publisher)\nExperience working with APIs (REST/SOAP) and handling JSON/XML data structures is a plus\nExposure to data warehousing concepts, including staging, data marts, and dimensional modelling\nUnderstanding of capital project, construction, or asset lifecycle data is a plus\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a consulting environment\nWhat’s In It For You:\nComprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, and vision)\nCompany-paid life and disability insurance\nOptional benefits like pet insurance, legal, and supplemental health plans\n401(k) with day-one eligibility, 3% safe harbor, plus up to 2.5% company match\nGenerous time off: 10 paid holidays and PTO starting at 15 days, growing up to 25\nAccess to Consertus Academy for continuous learning and development\nEqual Employment Opportunity Statement:\nConsertus is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
