This role works directly with vendors, originating departments, and school/district personnel to create solicitations, evaluate bids, issue and monitor contracts, and ensure smooth, well-coordinated procurement operations.\nKey Responsibilities:\nCreate solicitations, coordinate requirements with originating departments, write and evaluate specifications, conduct bid openings as needed, evaluate bids, prepare bids for award including completion of board items (if applicable), and issue/monitor contracts\nHandle vendor issues and concerns; coordinate with the School Board Attorney’s Office as needed\nSupervise contract purchases and coordinate/monitor delivery of “direct deliver” items\nFacilitate the Request for Quotes (RFQ) bidding process\nFacilitate contract amendments and/or contract extensions\nProvide technical guidance to school and departmental personnel\nFacilitate regular meetings with Facilities FF&E to review contract spend and vendor performance\nPerform other related administrative duties as required or assigned\nQualifications/Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent required\nMinimum of 2 years of procurement/purchasing and/or contract management experience\nPrevious experience working directly with vendors\nPrevious experience organizing groups and gathering information\nWorking proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel (intermediate level skills)\nKnowledge of computer software and technology relevant to the role, and motivation to learn new applications (e.g., SharePoint, SAP)\nDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms\nProven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously\nAdditional Requirements\nMust be able to pass a background check in accordance with client and project requirements\nWhat’s In It For You:\nComprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, and vision)\nCompany-paid life and disability insurance\nOptional benefits like pet insurance, legal, and supplemental health plans\n401(k) with day-one eligibility, 3% safe harbor, plus up to 2.5% company match\nGenerous time off: 10 paid holidays and PTO starting at 15 days, growing up to 25\nAccess to Consertus Academy for continuous learning and development\nEqual Employment Opportunity Statement:\nConsertus is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
