These roles will develop, maintain, and analyze detailed, logic-driven CPM schedules to support planning, progress tracking, and schedule performance reporting. The ideal candidates have strong Primavera P6 capability and demonstrated experience supporting bus, highway, and heavy civil construction projects (preferably in a public agency/transit environment and/or alternative delivery).\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop and maintain integrated, logic-driven CPM schedules in Primavera P6 for heavy civil infrastructure work.\nBuild schedules from scratch by coordinating with engineering, project management, construction teams, and contractors.\nCost-load and resource-load schedules as required; develop time-phased forecasts and cash flow curves (as applicable).\nEstablish schedule baselines; perform schedule updates and variance analysis against baseline and key milestones.\nPerform Time Impact Analyses (TIA) and support evaluation of schedule changes, delays, and recovery plans.\nReview and analyze contractor-submitted schedules; provide comments, identify issues, and coordinate corrections.\nTrack critical path, near-critical activities, constraints, and key interfaces across disciplines (civil/utilities/roadwork/paving).\nPrepare schedule narratives, dashboards, and briefings for project leadership and executive stakeholders.\nSupport schedule-related documentation for claims avoidance, change management, and reporting.\nMinimum Qualifications\nRequired Experience\n10+ years of project scheduling experience supporting heavy civil or highway construction projects. \nDemonstrated experience scheduling large-scale, complex infrastructure projects. \nProficiency in Primavera P6 (v12.0 or higher) with cost and resource loading. \nStrong knowledge of construction means and methods in heavy civil/highway projects. \nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical information to stakeholders at all levels. \nProven track record of accuracy, reliability, and completeness in prior roles.\nRequired Education\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBRT / transit project scheduling experience. \nExperience supporting CMGC delivery (or similar alternative delivery methods). \nExperience with cost/resource-loaded schedules and earned value / progress measurement approaches. \nFamiliarity with project controls environments and working with multi-party teams (agency + CM/GC + designer).\nWorking Hours & Location:\nLocation: Los Angeles, CA\nWork Arrangement: Hybrid; expected to be in-office 4 days per week and 1 day remote\nSchedule: Full-time, exempt role with standard business hours\nCompensation Range: $176,800 - $208,000 annually; Eligible for Bonus.\nWhat’s In It for You:\nComprehensive Health Coverage (medical, dental, vision)\nOptional benefits like pet insurance, legal insurance and supplemental health plans\n401(k) with day-one eligibility.
