This person bridges project management, project controls, and the digital team, and works closely with program leaders, program directors, project managers (PMs), construction managers (CMs), and stakeholders to understand what they need to know and why. The role requires on-site support in Austin, Texas.\nThis is not a traditional data analyst role. We are looking for someone who understands how capital projects are delivered first, and data second: a person with strong Excel skills and a track record in project performance reporting. Power BI experience is a plus but not required; training and mentorship are available for the right candidate.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProject Performance Reporting\nDevelop and maintain program and project performance reporting on cost, schedule, change, risk, and delivery workflows.\nTranslate project controls processes and leadership questions into meaningful metrics, KPIs, and exception-based reporting.\nIdentify leading indicators of cost exposure, schedule delay, and process bottlenecks (for example, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and approvals).\nProvide both executive-level summaries and project-level detail, so users can move from the program view down to individual items.\nQuestion reporting requests when the proposed metric does not answer the underlying business question.\nDashboards and Visualization\nDesign, build, and improve dashboards and reports in Excel and Power BI, applying consistent standards and program branding.\nLead the visual design of program reporting so information is easy to read, consistent, and fit for its audience.\nPrioritize accuracy, usability, and decision value over report volume or visual complexity.\nPrepare reporting content for governance, leadership, and stakeholder meetings.\nData Validation and Digital Team Collaboration\nServe as the functional liaison between project teams and the digital and data teams.\nDefine business requirements for data sources, integration, and reporting structures.\nValidate reported data against source systems (such as Procore, Primavera P6, and the owner’s financial management system) and investigate inconsistencies.\nContribute to KPI definitions, data governance, and reporting standards.\nRecommend improvements to source-system setup and data entry practices that improve reporting quality.\nDedicated digital resources support data integration and infrastructure; this role is not expected to build or maintain those on its own.\nStakeholder Collaboration and Continuous Improvement\nWork with program leaders, program directors, PMs, CMs, and stakeholders to understand how reporting is used and what decisions it supports.\nReview existing reports for gaps, redundancies, and misleading metrics, and retire reports that no longer add value.\nAnticipate reporting needs as projects move through their lifecycle and as priorities change.\nReduce manual reporting effort and build confidence in program data.\nChampion data-driven decision-making across program and project teams.\nQualifications/Requirements:\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills (essential): complex formulas, lookups, pivot tables, data cleanup, and analytical models.\nDemonstrated experience in project performance or data reporting within a project management or project delivery environment (essential).\nCapital project delivery experience, whether with an owner capital program, a contractor, or a designer; aviation or public infrastructure experience is a plus.\nWorking knowledge of project controls concepts: budgets, forecasting (EAC), change exposure, contingency, and schedule performance.\nExperience with project management systems such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or Primavera P6.\nPower BI, Power Query, or DAX experience is a plus; aptitude and willingness to learn is required.\nBachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, data analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\nAdditional Requirements / Skills / Working Hours\nOn-site support required in Austin, Texas\nProject sense: recognizes when the numbers do not match what is happening on the project.\nAnalytical curiosity: investigates the why behind trends and discrepancies.\nProactive: anticipates the next question and builds the answer before it is asked.\nClear communication with executives, PMs, CMs, controls staff, and technical developers.\nOwnership of reporting accuracy, relevance, and usefulness, with eagerness to keep learning.\nWhat's In It For You:\nComprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, and vision)\nCompany-paid life and disability insurance\nOptional benefits like pet insurance, legal, and supplemental health plans\n401(k) with day-one eligibility, 3% safe harbor, plus up to 2.5% company match\nGenerous time off: 10 paid holidays and PTO starting at 15 days, growing up to 25\nAccess to Consertus Academy for continuous learning and development\nEqual Employment Opportunity Statement:\nConsertus is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
