With strong financial backing and a clear strategic direction, we are investing in innovation, operational excellence, and talent, the key drivers of our next phase of development.\nA truly exciting time to join us.\nYour Role\nWe're expanding our Production Technology team in Gothenburg and are looking for a structured, analytical, and proactive Preparation Engineer.\nIn this role, you'll be the key link between R&D, Procurement, and Production, ensuring that our products are ready for efficient, high-quality manufacturing. You'll take ownership of product structures, production data, and ERP preparation while supporting new product introductions and continuous improvements across our manufacturing operations.\nThis is a varied role where you'll combine technical expertise, project coordination, and hands-on collaboration with colleagues across the business. If you enjoy improving processes, solving technical challenges, and working close to production, this could be the opportunity for you.\nWhat You'll Do\nAs a Preparation Engineer, you will:\nCreate, maintain, and optimize Bills of Materials (BOM) and Bills of Processes (BOP) within our ERP system.\n\nEnsure manufacturing drawings, specifications, and engineering revisions are accurate, complete, and available to production.\n\nLead product preparation activities during new product introductions, coordinating work between R&D, Quality, Procurement, and Operations.\n\nDevelop clear, standardized visual work instructions that support safe and efficient production.\n\nPerform product cost analyses to maintain accurate costing structures and identify opportunities for cost improvements.\n\nSupport communication with customers regarding product structures and technical requirements when needed.\n\nCollaborate closely with Production Engineers and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues and improve production processes.\n\nDrive continuous improvements in manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and process stability.\n\nAbout You\nWe're looking for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing, and continuous improvement. You're analytical, detail-oriented, and thrive in a collaborative environment where you can make a tangible impact.\nYou have:\nA Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Supply Chain Management, or another relevant technical discipline. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.\n\nExperience working with manufacturing ERP systems. Experience with ERP Monitor and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is an advantage.\n\nExperience in manufacturing, production engineering, product data management, cost analysis, or new product introduction.\n\nExperience with CAD and technical documentation is considered a plus.\n\nA structured approach and strong analytical skills, with the ability to manage detailed product information.\n\nA proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and process optimization.\n\nStrong communication and collaboration skills, enabling you to work effectively across multiple departments.\n\nA willingness to spend time in the production environment and work closely with manufacturing teams.\n\nGood communication skills in English.
