This role ensures that all valuation reports meet client requirements, investor guidelines, regulatory standards, and internal quality expectations before delivery.\nThe Team Lead is accountable for maintaining quality, productivity, turnaround times, and team performance while fostering continuous improvement through coaching, training, and process optimization.\nThis role will require the Team Lead to contribute to production. Hence, the resource needs to be open to contribute towards production goals and team management.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nTeam Leadership\nLead, coach, and mentor a team of QC Analysts.\nMonitor daily workload and allocate assignments based on priorities and capacity.\nConduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews.\nProvide constructive feedback and create development plans for team members.\nPromote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nAssist with hiring, onboarding, and training new team members.\nQuality Assurance\nEnsure completed Appraisal Reports and Broker Price Opinions are audited accurately using established QC checklists.\nVerify compliance with:\nClient-specific guidelines\nUSPAP requirements\nAgency and investor requirements (FNMA, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, etc., as applicable)\nInternal quality standards\n\nReview escalated or complex valuation reports.\nEnsure all required corrections are communicated clearly to appraisers or production teams.\nMonitor recurring quality issues and recommend corrective actions.\nOperational Management\nTrack daily production, turnaround times, and service level agreements (SLAs).\nEnsure work queues remain current and balanced.\nIdentify workflow bottlenecks and implement process improvements.\nPrepare productivity and quality reports for management.\nSupport capacity planning during volume fluctuations.\nPerformance Management\nMonitor individual and team KPIs, including:\nAudit accuracy\nProductivity\nTurnaround time\nError rates\nClient escalations\n\nConduct quality calibrations with the QC team.\nDevelop action plans for underperforming team members.\nRecognize and reward high performance.\nProcess Improvement\nIdentify trends in appraisal defects and recurring quality issues.\nRecommend enhancements to QC checklists and standard operating procedures.\nParticipate in process improvement initiatives and automation projects.\nCollaborate with Operations, Training, and Technology teams to improve quality and efficiency.\nClient & Stakeholder Support\nRespond to internal quality inquiries and escalations.\nParticipate in client calibration sessions when required.\nEnsure consistent application of client-specific requirements.\nMaintain strong working relationships with production teams and stakeholders.\n\nEDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:\nGraduate/MBA Degree\nExcellent communication -
