Organization\nMust be fully familiar with all hotel financial procedures, company policies, and operating standards.\nResponsible for the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all financial records and reports.\nCertifies the accuracy of the General Ledger and all statutory financial statements.\nEnsures compliance with local legislation, accounting standards, taxation requirements, and company policies.\nOversees the preparation and submission of all compliance and regulatory documents.\nCoordinates and manages internal and external financial audits.\nEnsures proper accounting controls and procedures are established, documented, and maintained.\nReviews and verifies all balance sheet accounts and reconciliations on a regular basis.\nEnsures accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes.\nReviews and approves monthly financial reports for Management and Corporate Office.\nMonitors cash flow, banking transactions, and treasury functions.\nMaintains adequate internal controls to safeguard company assets.\nOversees budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning activities.\nEnsures financial reports are prepared in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company requirements.\nAnalyzes financial performance and provides recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.\n2. Management\nDirects and manages the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department.\nEstablishes and maintains effective employee relations within the department.\nRecruits, interviews, selects, trains, develops, and evaluates finance team members.\nProvides coaching, counseling, performance feedback, and disciplinary action when necessary in accordance with company policies.\nEnsures adequate staffing levels and succession planning within the department.\nConducts regular departmental meetings and training sessions.\nDevelops departmental objectives aligned with hotel business goals.\nCollaborates closely with all Heads of Department to ensure effective budget control and cost management.\nSupports Management with strategic decision-making through financial analysis and reporting.\nIdentifies opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.\nPromotes a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.\nEnsures confidentiality of all financial and sensitive company information.\nActs as a key liaison between the hotel, auditors, banks, tax authorities, and corporate finance teams.\nPerforms any other duties assigned by the General Manager or Corporate Finance Office.\n\nQualifications\nQualifications\nEducational Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.\nProfessional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent is highly preferred.\nMaster's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (MBA) will be an advantage.\nProfessional Experience\nMinimum 3-5 years' experience in a senior finance management position, preferably within the hospitality industry.\nProven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and internal controls.\nExperience in managing audits, tax compliance, and statutory reporting.\nPrevious experience with hotel accounting systems and ERP software.\nKnowledge & Skills\nStrong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).\nExcellent understanding of hospitality financial operations and cost control procedures.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software.\nKnowledge of local tax regulations and statutory requirements.\nExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.\nHigh level of accuracy, integrity, and
