The role partners with GIOC, DCOPS, Physical Security, Engineering, Tools & Automation, Technical Support, Platform, TPMs, and US stakeholders.\nRole Overview\nBuild a single source of truth that enables consistent 24x7 operations. Convert complex technical knowledge into clear, actionable documentation, architecture diagrams, runbooks, workflows, training, KT packages, and service-readiness artifacts.\nThis is a documentation and enablement role-not an Incident Manager, TPM, or engineering remediation role.\nKey Responsibilities\nGIOC Documentation & Runbooks\nCreate SOPs, runbooks, workflows, checklists, RACI, service ownership, escalation, and operational procedures.\n\nBuild runbooks for infrastructure, network, security, datacenter, monitoring, maintenance, failover, and recovery.\n\nArchitecture & Process Documentation\nCapture current/future-state architecture, service dependencies, data flows, integrations, and operational boundaries.\n\nCreate process maps, swimlanes, decision trees, escalation workflows, and operating-model diagrams.\n\nKnowledge Transfer & Handoffs\nBuild US→India TTO/KT packages covering architecture, monitoring, dependencies, runbooks, ownership, escalation, and support boundaries.\n\nStandardize shift handoffs and engineering/operational communication templates.\n\nTraining & Enablement\nBuild GIOC onboarding and role-based training plans, materials, scenarios, assessments, and readiness checklists.\n\nPartner with Engineering SMEs to conduct KT and close knowledge gaps.\n\nConfluence & Knowledge Management\nBuild and govern the GIOC Confluence knowledge base, templates, ownership, review cycles, versioning, and searchability.\n\nUS-India & TPM Partnership\nFacilitate SME workshops and partner with US Engineering and TPMs on PRDs, requirements, workflows, and operational readiness.\n\nDrive review, approval, and publication across distributed stakeholders.\n\nOperational Readiness & Continuous Improvement\nEnsure critical services have approved documentation, architecture, training, monitoring, escalation, access, and KT readiness before transition.\n\nUse operational feedback to improve documentation and identify AI-assisted knowledge-management opportunities.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n5-8+ years in technical writing, technical documentation, knowledge management, or operations documentation.\n\nExperience with cloud/infrastructure, NOC/SOC, SRE, DevOps, datacenter, networking, systems, security, or monitoring environments.\n\nStrong experience creating runbooks, SOPs, workflows, architecture/process diagrams, and knowledge bases.\n\nHands-on Confluence and Jira/ITSM experience; familiarity with Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, or similar.\n\nExperience creating training/KT materials and working directly with technical SMEs.\n\nStrong written/verbal communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and technical curiosity.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nNOC/SOC/GIOC/SRE/live-site operations documentation experience.\n\nAzure/AWS/GCP and monitoring/observability exposure (Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, Icinga or equivalent).\n\nITIL experience and familiarity with AI-assisted documentation/knowledge tools.\n\nInclusion & Privacy\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
