This role supports both teams on a variety of projects and daily operations, giving interns a unique chance to gain exposure to multiple areas within our Finance organization. Interns will collaborate with professionals across departments, develop a deeper understanding of financial processes, and contribute to initiatives that impact the company's financial health and employee experience.\nResponsibilities:\nPayroll\nUnder general supervision perform payroll calculation and processing activities to ensure employees are paid timely and accurately\nPerform and/or assist in the completion of ad-hoc general payroll responsibilities such as creation and publishing of a pay calendar, participation in government surveys, and completion of tax processing, amendments, and remittances\nSupport all Payroll responsibilities required for period close, including reconciliations, and determine accrual adjustments as required\nAssist with documentation of procedures and controls\nAd hoc reporting and analysis as assigned\nAll Interns will participate in pre-planned intern events such as Senior Leader Meetings, Goal Setting, Team Building Tour and Final Presentations\nAccounts Receivable\nReview customer financial statements to establish credit.\nAssist with customer data management.\nAssist with credit policies\nRequired Qualifications:\nUndergraduate major in Accounting, Business or Finance.\nPreference: candidate completed three years of undergraduate studies\nMinimum GPA of 3.0\nProficiency with personal computers and associated word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and database software\nExcellent communication skills required (both verbal and written)\nCompetencies:\nUnderstanding of basic accounting and finance, analytical skills, excel skills and attention to detail\nInitiative and results oriented\nAbility to build productive relationships\nPhysical Requirements/Work Environment\nOccasional lifting up to 25 lbs.\nSitting, working at desk/personal computer for extended periods of time\nPrimary work environment is professional corporate office\nAbility to travel commercially to domestic and international locations\nThe salary range for this role is:\n$18.00- $29.50 an hour\nThis is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
