The Project Manager III will coordinate amongst various business unit(s), manage and/or evaluate development of these projects with varied complexities. Through initial review/meetings, have beneficial knowledge of job specific requirements that are effectively communicated and controlled through prepared status reports, meetings, and updates. Represent the company as a professional and knowledgeable resource that can be relied on for a successful and profitable completion. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions, including but not necessarily limited to the following:\nComplete knowledge of project orders\nCoordinate/Attend meetings (i.e. production, drafting, kickoff, project review, customer/conference calls)\nMaintain project review list\nCoordination between all internal departments and customer regarding shop drawings, order changes, and any other topics during project\nReview and understand any internal department’s questions, concerns and or RFI’s (request for information); respond in a timely manner through phones calls and emails.\nFollow up with internal departments regarding project statuses\nReview drawings against the contract and/or Letter of Intent and or Quote and or clear Sales direction\nUnderstanding and knowledge of our products, fabrication processes of the different products, building construction, and contract document knowledge\nFollow upon all jobs that are out for approval but jobs that are in drafting or released\nTrouble shooting details, materials, or field conflicts\nMaintain a heightened level of customer & project team communication to ensure all parties are aligned on current & forthcoming project status\nUpdate ERP system order notes when necessary\nMaintain both electronic and physical files/folders\nImplement and deliver solution-driven strategies\nWork closely with production and purchasing to give a pro-active approach for materials required and deadlines\nOther duties as required by management.\nEnsure compliance with ISO 9001 quality management system and ISO 14001 environmental management system requirements, including adherence to documented procedures, participation in audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nEnsures all applicable quality management systems, and continuous improvement inititives, are followed.\nResponsible for critical dates, shipping information in ERP.\nEnsures project information correct in ERP\n KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION: (Minimum Education and/or Experience required)\nAssociates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school\nFive to ten years of proven and demonstrable success, experience, and expertise in a role of similar capacity.\nKnowledge of Construction and fabrication methods/processes\nKnowledge of BPCS, Windows Office programs, Understands AutoCAD and/or Bluebeam\nExperience with reviewing architectural and structural drawings\nAbility to read rough or detailed sketches, designs, specifications and/or notes, analyze, and interpret architectural and structural drawings\nComputer literacy, specifically in Excel spreadsheets.\n25% travel requirements\nOrganizational skills\nAbility to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
