The Stone Installer will be responsible for the precise and aesthetically pleasing installation of various stone materials, including natural stone, tiles, and masonry products.\nJOB DESCRIPTION\nKey Performance Indicators:\nMetal Preparation\nSurface Preparation\nInstallation\nGrouting and Sealing\nRepair and Restoration\nQuality Control\nSafety Compliance\nCollaboration\nResponsibilities:\nMeasure, cut, and shape stones using hand or power tools to fit specific project requirements.\nPrepare surfaces for stone installation by cleaning, leveling, and ensuring proper substrate conditions.\nApply adhesive between stones and seal surfaces as needed for enhanced durability and appearance.\nInstall all types of stone materials, including natural stone, tiles, and masonry products, in both interior and exterior spaces.\nEnsure accurate alignment, spacing, and leveling of stones to achieve the desired aesthetic and structural outcome.\nIdentify and repair damaged or chipped stones as needed during the installation process.\nPerform restoration work on existing stone installations to maintain their integrity and appearance.\nConduct thorough inspections of completed stone installations to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.\nPromptly address any defects or issues to meet client expectations.\nAdhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment and safe handling of tools and equipment.\nWork collaboratively with other construction professionals, including architects, designers, and project managers, to achieve project goals.\nCommunicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless coordination of stone installation activities.\nBasic Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nMeticulous to ensure precise measurements and installation.\nFamiliarity with different cutting and shaping tools used in stone installation.\nProficiency in the installation of various stone materials, including natural stone and tiles.\nKnowledge of adhesion techniques and sealing methods.\nExcellent critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently.\nPhysical fitness and stamina for manual labor and lifting heavy materials.\nKnowledge of safety procedures and commitment to a safe working environment.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nProven experience as a Stone Installer in the construction industry.\nMore than 7 years’ experience installing natural stone, tiles, and masonry products.\nExpert proficiency in the use of cutting and shaping tools for stone materials.\nAbility to interpret project plans, specifications, and blueprints.\nBENEFITS\n Medical\nDental\nVision\nEmployer Paid Basic Employee Life and AD&D Insurance\nEmployer Paid Long Term Disability\nFlexible Spending Accounts\nVoluntary Short-Term Disability\nVoluntary Life and AD&D Insurance\nVoluntary Accident Insurance\nVoluntary Critical Illness Insurance\n\nEEO\nAt Construction Resources, our people are the driving force behind everything we do.
