Only candidates local to Tulsa will be considered.\nWe're looking for an energetic, creative and focused Video Producer who genuinely cares about making great videos. You'll join our first in-house video pod in Tulsa, working alongside a video lead and our on-camera host and script writer.\nYou'll run the shoot in our in-house studio and work with our outside editors, who take footage most of the way in Adobe. Then you'll bring their cuts in-house and do the final pass. You'll also make sure every shoot captures everything the category needs beyond the main video: b-roll, ad variants, GIFs and stills for paid ads and lifecycle. You're the person in the room who catches the mistakes the on-camera talent can't see, and you own the quality of everything we publish.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nRun shoots in our Tulsa office: camera, lighting, audio, set and shot list\nPlan every shoot to capture the full asset set: main video, b-roll, alternate takes for ad variants, GIFs and stills\nDirect on-camera talent and catch mistakes on set before they make it into the edit\nHelp build out and maintain the studio and gear\nHand off footage to outside editors with clear briefs, storyboards and deadlines\nManage our bench of outside editors (Upwork): find, test, onboard and give feedback\nBring editor cuts in-house and do the final pass in Premiere Pro: pacing, captions, graphics, sound and color\nCut and export ad variants and lifecycle assets to spec (aspect ratios, lengths and file sizes for paid platforms and email)\nQuality-check every video for accuracy and brand standards before it goes live\nExport, deliver and schedule videos to each platform's specs\nBuild and organize the category asset library (footage, b-roll, GIFs, images) so the paid, content and lifecycle teams can find and use it\nUse AI tools to speed up rough cuts, captions and b-roll\nRequirements\nMinimum Qualifications & Credentials\n1-3 years of experience in video production\nA reel of videos you've shot and edited, including things you've made on your own outside of class or work\nWorking knowledge of cameras, lighting and audio\nVideo editing proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro\nCan explain how the YouTube, TikTok and Instagram algorithms work and what makes viewers drop off\nA sharp eye for detail; you notice the things others miss\nOrganized enough to juggle multiple freelancers and deadlines at once\nAI native: uses AI tools to work faster\nNice to Have\nExperience producing paid social ads or cutting ad variants\nExperience hiring or managing freelancers on Upwork or similar\nAfter Effects or motion graphics skills\nExperience shooting vertical, short-form video\nWants to be on camera and could serve as the category's on-camera host\nBenefits\nWhy You’ll Love Working Here\nAt ConsumerAffairs, your voice matters.
