It is here where, in any one of our 63 labs, we test, rate, and review 10,000+ products and services. \nAs a Mechanic on the team, you will report to the Director of Facilities to focus on routine maintenance, responding to occasional off-hour emergency calls and ensuring safety regulations are met and all equipment is in good working order.\nThis is an on-site position located in Yonkers, New York. This position is not eligible for sponsorship or relocation assistance. \nHow You'll Make An Impact\nOur dedicated facility team is instrumental in maintaining and repairing our organization’s headquarters so our testing and research experts can provide consumers with the information they need to make informed decisions. In this position, you will be responsible for:\nPerforming maintenance tasks\nRepairing equipment, machinery, and building\nResponding to \"on demand\" and timely staff requests, event set-ups / emergency calls Complying with safety regulations, and assisting with facility inspections.\nHandling inventory management\nOverseeing the emergency evacuations of staff during fire or safety events\nRepairing and installation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment \nUpkeep of grounds & equipment \nABOUT YOU\nYou’ll Be Highly Rated If:\nYou have the degree. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall near the middle of this range.
