This position offers valuable hands-on experience in the mortgage industry while supporting our underwriting department with essential tasks and processes.\nOur ideal candidate has a great attitude, is genuine and passionate. You are purposeful and like to be the solution, but more importantly, you are a servant leader.\nWhat you will do:\nAct as a junior Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) or reliever during high-volume periods.\nPrepare pre-approval documentation for potential borrowers.\nSubmit completed files to underwriting.\nFollow up on homeowner’s insurance (HOI) requirements.\nConduct BSA property lookups and verification.\nEstimate property taxes for loan applications.\nReview and file documents from FastApp/unassigned queues.\nPull and organize bank and mortgage statements.\nSupport loan officers experiencing higher than normal volume to prevent production lulls.\nAssist with administrative tasks to help maintain workflow efficiency.\nLearn the mortgage application process from start to finish.\nShadow experienced mortgage professionals.\nWhat you'll bring to the table:\nCollege junior or equivalent.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nInterest in learning about mortgage operations and processes.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.\nTechnology Proficiency - Knowledge of current technology, with the ability to easily navigate multiple software applications.
