Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.\nYour Moneris Career - What you'll do\nLead and develop a team of software development professionals responsible for the delivery of payment products across POS terminals, mobile solutions, pinpads, and unattended payment devices.\nOversee the full software development lifecycle for multiple projects, including requirements definition, solution design, development, testing, integration, and release management.\nDefine and govern platform architecture, review solution designs, and ensure alignment with technical standards, product architecture, and engineering best practices.\nPartner with cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate business and technical requirements, make design decisions, and deliver iterative product enhancements.\nManage the platform roadmap and backlog, prioritize initiatives, and sponsor technology improvements that enhance platform capabilities and long-term scalability.\nCommunicate technical solutions and architectural decisions to both business and technical audiences to build alignment and support informed decision-making.\nCollaborate with hardware and software vendors and coordinate work across distributed teams to deliver components and solutions on schedule.\nEnsure payment products comply with security, regulatory, and industry standards, including EMV and PCI requirements.\nPlan and manage budgets, resources, and delivery schedules to support strategic roadmap objectives.\nYour Moneris Career - What you bring\nRequired skills and experience\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.\n10+ years of experience in system-level software development and software architecture.\n5+ years of experience within the payments industry.\n3+ years of technical leadership and/or people management experience.\nExperience managing remote teams and distributed software delivery.\nProficiency in Java and C/C++ software development for Android, mobile applications, and embedded systems.\nStrong knowledge of software design principles and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.\nExperience working with EMV and PCI standards.\nExperience working within Agile software development environments.\nExperience that would set you apart\nExperience with Kotlin and React Native mobile application development.\nYour Moneris Career - What you get\nAt Moneris, we believe in empowering you to succeed-personally and professionally.
