This role offers exposure to hybrid cloud technologies, high-availability platforms, compliance-driven environments, and advanced automation practices while providing opportunities to mentor team members and elevate technical capability across the organization.\nLocation: You will be based in our Toronto or Montreal office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.\nReporting Relationship: You will report to the Manager, Systems Infrastructure.\nPosting Type: Replacement Position.\nSalary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $106,000 - $135,000.\nTotal compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.\nYour Moneris Career - What you'll do\nAdminister and maintain Windows Server infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.\n\nLead Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise platform operations for production systems.\n\nDrive platform currency, patching, lifecycle management, and in-place server upgrades.\n\nSupport Microsoft Clustering and SQL Server high-availability environments.\n\nResolve complex production incidents through root cause analysis and advanced troubleshooting.\n\nDevelop PowerShell automation and contribute to deployment and build pipelines.\n\nMaintain operational standards, runbooks, documentation, and service support processes.\n\nMentor team members and collaborate across infrastructure, engineering, application, and security teams.\n\nYour Moneris Career - What you bring\nMinimum 7+ years of experience in systems infrastructure administration, design, and support.\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, equivalent experience, or advanced technical certifications.\n\nDeep expertise supporting enterprise Windows Server production environments.\n\nStrong hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy.\n\nExperience supporting Microsoft Clustering and SQL Server high-availability platforms.\n\nAdvanced PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation experience.\n\nProven ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex production infrastructure issues.\n\nExperience with Azure and hybrid cloud environments is an asset.\n\nExperience with Ansible or similar configuration management platforms is an asset.\n\nExperience supporting VMware virtualization environments is an asset.\n\nFamiliarity with PCI DSS, CIS benchmarks, Tripwire, or payment-processing environments is an asset.\n\nExperience working with MSSPs and managed security monitoring models is an asset.\n\nIndustry certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, GCED, SC-200, or equivalent are considered an asset.\n\nYour Moneris Career - What you get\nAt Moneris, we believe in empowering you to succeed-personally and professionally.
