Chalo, let’s go!\nRoles & Responsibilities \nWork across the stack from a code commit to running it in production for our Platform, the shared service that powers AI features across Contentstack products \nDesign, develop and test backend services and APIs from inception to rollout, including model and provider configuration, usage metering and credit allocation \nBuild reliable event-driven integrations (Kafka, Celery) \nIntegrate and operate LLM providers (OpenAI, Google Vertex AI/Gemini, Anthropic) securely, including key management and rotation \nWrite high quality code that is scalable, testable, maintainable and reliable \nIndependently own and drive new features from scratch, working with Product, QA, DevOps and partner teams \nOwn releases across environments: deployments, sanity checks, hotfixes and rollbacks \nDebug and resolve issues in Kubernetes-based services on GCP, AWS and Azure \nWork in an Agile environment and facilitate agile practices \nChampion best practices, including security hygiene and test automation \nMentor and guide junior team members \nContinuously improve by working on and providing feedback \nRequired Skill Sets \nStrong experience with Python on the backend (FastAPI or similar, async programming)\nStrong knowledge of creating scalable REST APIs and clear API contracts \nWorking experience with MongoDB; Redis and relational databases are a plus \nExperience with message queues and background workers (Kafka, Celery, RabbitMQ or similar), including retries, idempotency and backfills \nPractices TDD and has experience writing API and end-to-end test automation \nStrong understanding of Object Oriented Programming and/or Functional Programming concepts \nUnderstanding of containerization (Docker) and hands-on debugging with Kubernetes \nBasic knowledge of cloud IAM and networking on GCP or AWS \nExperience with setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GoCD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or similar) \nExperience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Vertex AI/Gemini, Anthropic) is preferred \nExperience with NodeJS/TypeScript and ReactJS is preferred \nSome experience with alternative protocols like gRPC or GraphQL is preferred\nFamiliarity with observability (OpenTelemetry, logs, traces) and security tooling (Snyk, secret scanning) is preferred \nExperience practicing Agile software development methods is preferred.\nWhat Do We Offer?\nInteresting Work | We hire curious trendspotters and brave trendsetters.
