Since our founding in 2012, we presently have 26 locations throughout the United States and continue to rapidly expand our footprint throughout the country\n Position Overview:\nThe Retread Technician must be able to inspect tires, analyze, and take recommended steps to properly repair or rebuild CLT and Medium Truck tires for the purpose of adding value to customers and providing additional revenue to BestDrive.\nHOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:\nInspect casings using the tools, procedures, methods, and work instructions established by Conti.\nRuns casings through the shearography machine, analyzes the results and grades the casing.\nBuff the remaining tread of the casings using the tools, procedures, methods, and work instructions established by Conti.\nMake the application of the tread on the prepared casing using the tools, procedures, methods, and work instructions established by Conti.\nPlaces the casing in the envelope (envelope), installs the inner envelope and ensures an airtight seal for curing.\nVacuum tests the envelope to ensure that the package sealed. Repair injuries to the casings using the tools, procedures, methods, and work instructions established by Conti.\nLoads the curing chamber and sets the proper curing parameters for the load.\nInspect casings using the tools, procedures, methods, and work instructions established by Conti.\nCommunicate with BestDrive salesmen and end user fleet personnel for completion of desired service tasks\nComplete necessary paperwork legibly.\nComply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements pertaining to this position.\n WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:\nMust be 18 years or older\nThe ability to work in a fast paced, customer service-oriented environment. \nAbility to work on a team and independently \nAbility to communicate, verbally and written, clearly and professionally with co-workers and management.\nLegal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Saturday and evenings as needed; may have little to no advance notice.\nThis position operates in all types of indoor and outdoor work environments, therefore exposure to heat and cold is to be expected.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, employee is regularly required to stand, bend, climb, lift and walk. \nRequired to handle hazardous materials and wear various forms of protective equipment (safety shoes, gloves, protective eyewear, etc.).
