This role requires a proactive, self-directed communications professional who can translate business priorities into clear, timely, measurable, and engaging communication strategies for employees, leaders, and regional stakeholders.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead, develop and execute strategic internal communications for the Americas region, applying strong storytelling across multiple channels.\nDrive proactive planning and execution by building and maintaining communication plans (including crisis), project trackers, and timelines, anticipating needs, risks and dependencies among stakeholders.\nServe as a trusted communications advisor to leaders and stakeholders, helping to shape their communications strategy by engaging with them regularly.\nOwn major employee teams, projects, events and leadership moments, including the US Corporate Social Responsibility team, All Employee Meetings and other regional leadership events.\nApply measurement, insights, and continuous improvement throughout all tasks and projects by establishing KPIs and connecting communications activities to measurable outcomes\nSupport regional and global alignment and ensure communications needs are met in both directions.\nManage agencies, vendors, and content partners as needed\n WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE\nBachelors Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related discipline.\n7+ years of Communications experience\nStrong internal communications, corporate communications, or employee engagement experience.\nAbility to think strategically while also executing detailed communications plans.\nHigh level of ownership, accountability, follow-through, and independent judgment.\nStrong project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, dependencies, stakeholders, and competing priorities.\nProactive planning mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and risks.\nStrong writing, editing, storytelling, presentation, and message-development skills.\nAbility to advise and influence leaders and stakeholders with confidence.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing polished, accurate work.\nComfort working with ambiguity and moving projects forward without having every answer upfront.\nStrong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.\nAbility to use data, feedback, and KPIs to evaluate communication effectiveness.\nCuriosity and adaptability with communications tools, digital platforms, templates, analytics, and emerging technologies.\nAbility to work across functions, regions, and cultures while maintaining message consistency and audience relevance.\nContinental is able to provide relocation assistance for this opportunity.\nLegal authorization to work in the US is required.
