We collaborate with partners to deliver high-quality, end-to-end solutions that drive growth and transformation.\n The GL Supervisor shall be responsible for the financial close month end process, ensuring integrity of reported figures and perform internal reporting for the Business Area being supported and internal management. This role can also may asked to be involved in various projects and support key activities that will be related to the local legal entity.\nThis role will interact with other functional areas of finance and the business unit/plant controllers.\nKey Responsibilities:\nResponsible to Supervise a small team of accountants that cover various accounting processes (ie intercompany, GL accounting, FP&A).\nManagement of monthly North America close processes and coordination with various internal stakeholders; The role will support both US production and US sales companies\nEnsure balance sheet accounts are properly reconciled & reviewed on a monthly basis; any identified adjustments are corrected in timely manner\nCoordinate with US Fort Mill team and Corporate Accounting in Hanover, Germany to ensure accuracy of financial information in accordance with company accounting policies outlined in FRM and IFRS guidelines\nLiaise with external auditors to facilitate the annual financial audit and quarterly review processes and ensure compliance with audit requirements.\nSupport plants and other functional areas related to internal audit\nResponsible for ensuring that accounting is in accordance with IFRS and internal FRM (Financial Reporting Manual)\nManage accounting operations, including general ledger and asset accounting.\nOngoing adherence to company policy and procedures\nInternal controls requirements/compliance\nRelationship with local external auditors and internal auditors\nIdentify and execute process improvement\n 10 - 12 years overall Accounting / Finance experience\nCertified Public Accountant is preferred\nSAP experience is required\nSupervisory / Management experience preferred but open for high potential individuals\nExperience working in an international company and/or from a manufacturing environment is a plus\nTeam player - ability to work with various functional areas and levels of management\nRollup the sleeves attitude\nInterpersonal skills - good listener & communicator, organizational skills, ability to evaluate talent pool, etc.\nNeeds to feel responsible for own functional area, but also a critical part of the ultimate success or failure of entire operations\nExposure to working in a matrix organization and stakeholder management\nWilling to work on a night-shift schedules, depending on business needs.\nHybrid work setup.\n Hybrid work setup\nHMO upon hire\nValues-based culture\nLearning Opportunities\nReady to drive with Continental?
