In addition, ContiTech serves the automotive and transportation industries as well as rail transport.\n HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT\nAssist in programming, configuring, and troubleshooting Siemens PLCs and HMIs for mixing/compounding equipment\nSupport troubleshooting of control systems, drives, and instrumentation to reduce downtime.\nHelp maintain documentation of control programs and wiring diagrams.\nCollaborate with engineers on equipment installations and process improvements.\nLearn and apply safety standards and company policies in all tasks.\nSupport capital spending projects and implementations of new equipment\nAssist and support the implementation of Factory Talk and other automation software\nWork with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement projects\nSupport and train maintenance technicians\nSupport TPOC, Gemba, and 5S programs\nTraining and coaching on Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Camline, Iconics, WiriTec, among others, depending on the implementation package.\n WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, automation, Controls Automation, mechatronics, or related engineering field\n2+ years’ experience with control systems in a manufacturing environment\nWorking knowledge of electrical schematics and industrial networks\nKnowledge of PLCs, Allen Bradley, Siemens\nStrong willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment\nKnowledge of industrial safety standards\nGood communication and teamwork skills\nWilling to work on equipment and support the production and maintenance teams\nDemonstrated competency in basic use of hand tools, including multimeters\nIntermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite\nThe ability to work support nights and weekend shifts as needed\nVisa Sponsorship for Continental/ContiTech employees only\nADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT\n5+ years’ experience with control systems in a manufacturing environment\nExtensive experience in technology development and implementation processes.\nExperience in Project Management.\nExperience in the implementation of standards and/or strategic projects.\nAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.\nEEO-Statement:\nEEO / AA / Disabled / Protected Veteran Employer.
