Position Summary\nThe Infrastructure Consultant is responsible for analyzing internal customer requirements and implementing logging and monitoring solutions in collaboration with external providers.\nThe role focuses on designing, configuring, and optimizing centralized logging platforms (especially ELK stack) to ensure visibility, observability, and operational stability across IT services.\n2. Key Responsibilities\nAnalyze and collect requirements from internal stakeholders regarding logging and monitoring needs\nTranslate business and technical requirements into implementable solutions\nDesign, implement, and maintain logging and monitoring solutions based on ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)\nCollaborate closely with external service providers to deliver and operate solutions\nEnsure proper onboarding of systems, applications, and infrastructure into the logging platform\nDefine and implement dashboards, alerts, and reporting mechanisms\nImprove observability and troubleshooting capabilities across systems\nEnsure compliance with logging standards, security policies, and audit requirements\nSupport incident analysis and root cause investigations using logging data\nOptimize performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of the logging platform\n3. Collaboration & Interfaces\nInternal stakeholders (Infrastructure, Application teams, Security, Service Owners)\nExternal providers responsible for implementation and operations\nCross-functional IT teams (e.g., Cloud, Network, Security)\n Strong hands-on experience with ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)\nExperience in logging, monitoring, and observability concepts\nGood understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, applications, cloud environments)\nExperience working with external service providers / managed services\nFamiliarity with ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)\nScripting knowledge (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus\nExperience integrating logs from multiple sources (applications, servers, network devices)\n 5.
